Mangold, Not Revis, is the one close to a new deal.

Just a tick under 8 mil a year, I like it. Hell guarantee 54 mil outta 55, nick deserves it.

Great news to hear we've locked down mangold. The contract isn't too bad either, in a few years that'll be average for a good center, and mangold's the best

Wow that is great. The average is essentially the same as Brown's for a long term. Terrific.

Awesome news. Mangold is the heart and soul of this OL and Tannenbaum is a fantastic GM. Its so cool to have a great FO that goes out and retains great talent and that understands that the OL is where its at in terms of building and maintaining a great team.

We have Brick and Mangold locked up long term.

Screw Revis! No way he is worth as much as Brick and Mangold combined. Use the $12 mil per year of Revis money to lock up Harris, Edwards, Cromartie, and Holmes. Then trade for a nickel back.

Yea, there's no way $12 million buys all of that. $12 million will maybe get two of those guys.

Good.move and a good contract. Mangold is a huge asset to the team and has displayed a more than cooperative attitude during the negotiations.

I love Mangold and I'm happy he's is close to signing, but I'm baffled by all these 'great deal', 'we got him cheap' type comments. How can anyone say that, without knowing how the contract is structured?

    EVERYTHING is in the DETAILS!

well we are expected to be able to bring back one of the three on our own, so add in the other two with the 12 we would pay Revis, would allow us to save all 3.

Everyone is happy that we signed someone without a $16 million/year price tag. An average of $7.7 million/year is great news at this point.

If it's less than $16 million a year then it's cheap...
