The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (continued) (Cowlishaw twitter rumored deal done)

I'll lose about 11 days of sleep. Also, I'll kill and eat a chimp.

What's really fun is seeing a massive group of them running around the National Mall on a guided tour.

Sauteed chimp? Sounds delicious. Or did you plan on slow-roasting it over an open pit?

Who says a columnist can't break a story? No reporter is coming out and saying that he's wrong because they don't have any leads to go on. No one is talking.

I want to know why the hell it is that ESPN hasn't staked Ed Werder outside of Revis house, and consulted the local airport about flight plans, all that stupid shit they just had to do with Favre every day for the last three Summers.

Because the Vikings play in a largest media market, and they're widely considered to be America's Team.

Because ESPN doesn't have a hard-on for players who aren't Wrangler models?

Favre is(unfortunately) the biggest name in the league right now. A future HOF QB who everyone loves to see talk about playing.

Revis is a CB in a contract dispute.

I can see Bert now, "Deanna, is Ed Werder still in the front yard? Goddammit, I'm gonna blow that sumbitches head off!"

edit: dammit, I'm going to end up in friggin limbo again. Revis, Revis, Revis.

Revis lives in a crib, not a house. You gotta get your lingo down.

Stay on topic with Revis, or we'll start banning people. These threads get bloated because people act like jackasses all the time. This is the Revis thread. If you want to talk about Revis, feel free to post here. If you want to bullshit around, there's a forum for that.

    Some would say a manger.

What a great day Wednesday would though. Sign Revis news, then watch Hard Knocks.

Florio was on Sid Rosenbergs Florida radio show today. Man does he sound like a bag of douche, well actually both. Florio is a hater wrapped up in an agenda.

He said there were 2 possibilities with the recent spate of the Jets player problems, with their so called promising to take care of their players.... 1.) The Jets FO are poor communicators at telling the players their intentions 2.) They are blatant liars.

Funny, I was thinking about a 3rd. All the players complaining have Schwartz and Feinsod as agents Kendall, Baker and Revis . 3.) Maybe it is the agents, jackass......

Anyway, that was his stance. The guy is a fuck stain.

I agree. my interest in the embarrassment of Tim Cowlishaw, if I even have that interest, certainly doesn't equate to my desire to have Revis back on the team.

I don't see how any Jets fan would want Cowlishaw embarrassed. If he is correct, Revis is back in the fold. Not only that but he trumped all the idiots that follow the team on a daily basis. That in and of itself is awesome.

Oh and we can all flip that idiot Florio the bird.
