I really don't want to see that, regardless of whether or not Revis signs.

Why not? Wilsn is one heck of a PR and with Revis back he should be used there...

    Jason Sehorn.

    'nuff said.

Washington looks like the odd man out at RB, I'd rather see Woodhead (who I like, but is expendable) or some similarly situated player back there.

    Who!?

Sad for Washington but yeah I think we should keep T-Rich and Terminator so we can only afford to keep three backs.

I don't think it's worth the injury risk with McKnight already on the roster and Taylor in camp. I haven't seen any reason to be displeased with either of them in the role.

In my mind the PR job is narrowed down to two candidates. There's no reason to ask Wilson to do it unless we were running low on options. Yea it would be a lot of fun to watch, but then again McKnight and Taylor aren't exactly a bore when they're on the field, either.

    Specifically his 1998 season information.
Woodhead isn't really that type of a runner, and Washington earned his ST playing time by blocking for Kick Returners instead of being one.

I agree. My point was I'd rather see someone expendable back there.

You know I like Danny, but...Woodhead, Any other guy...McKnight...and in that order.

Today I think Woodhead is the better pro, but it would suck to eat a draft pick because McKnight gets his knee blown out.

(IDK if you're near a radio, but the idiocy on the fatcessa show is at an all time high..totally overlooking the fact that mevi$ has 3 years left on his deal...how do the Jets have NO leverage here?)

I agree with McKnight. I think if Revis even does come back now Wilson has made himself too important, by knowing two positions, to put back there.

Having three starting quality CBs may be a luxury but it would be foolish to throw it away by letting any of them return punts.

McKnight doesn't really have any other contribution to make right now. KR is his best spot to make an impact.
I make every effort to ignore Francessa whenever possible.

Jim Leonhard is our PR as of now and he is a starter, so I think that Wilson has just been muffing some in practices and not being held out because of his new role

I am completely fine with Leonhard returning punts. He is sure handed and that's what counts.

I'd rather see a sure handed punter than trying to go for a big play returner who may fumble it. Punt returns aren't a big deal, don't risk a starter like Wilson.
