I could understand teams hating on the Jets with our big mouths, the closer we get, the less confidence I have in this team and especially the QB. I guess being a season ticket holder for 30 years has caught up to me once again
I asked this question in another thread--do the Jets really do that much talking compared to anyone else? Aside from Rex who isn't your typical BS coach, what team doesn't set the Super Bowl as a goal in the preseason? Especially when you went to a conference championship game, who isn't looking/talking about taking the next step? I think too much is being made of that.
i guess all the talk has gotten to tom. i wonder how his jackass coach feels about these comments. i'm sure all he has to say is "no comment"
This thread can't be accurate. The Patriots do their talking on the field. They've said so. Many times. In press conferences.
I think this whole statement is a farce. Someone gives inside access to the camp and inner workings of an arch-rival and they aren't watching it? The Patriots, who spy on opponents and are totally paranoid of someone doing it to them? You've got to be kidding. If Brady himself isn't watching, someone in the organization is recording it and going through it with a fine toothed comb to find anything they can find. Probably every team on our schedule has someone recording it, how hard is that? I'm recording it and I sit a mile from the fucking field, half in the bag.
Jane McManus Twitter: I asked the notorious Rob Turner if Tom Brady's comment was worth a fight and he said, "Brady wouldn't fight me. I'd break his jaw." about 1 hour ago via Echofon Rob Turner's a giant asshole, I love it! I guess he's our version of Jared Allen.
Rex don't like him much either and it didn't take long to get that out. "Rex Ryan laughed off Tom Brady’s admission that he doesn’t watch his AFC East rivals on Hard Knocks. The Patriots quarterback told WEEI radio in Boston that he has no desire to watch the Jets on HBO. “I hate the Jets,” Brady said. “So I refuse to support that show.” Ryan was hardly shocked by Brady’s take. “He already knows that we hate the Patriots… so what’s the difference?” Ryan said after today’s practice. “My brother’s got a couple Super Bowl rings. He loves Tom Brady. But I don’t have them, so I don’t like Tom Brady. I respect him, but I don’t like him.” Besides, Ryan said Brady isn’t alone in his ill feelings toward the Jets. "Join the club,” Ryan cracked. Center Nick Mangold wasn’t surprised, either. “You would assume,” Mangold said about Brady’s feelings that he isn’t the biggest Jets fan. “That doesn’t’ seem to be all that surprising. It’s part of the excitement of games. You dislike the other teams…. I don’t expect him to be sitting there with a bowl of popcorn enjoying the show every Wednesday.” Added Mangold: "Obviously it’s heated. Hate gets thrown around a lot in today’s society as it is… I think you‘d have to really have to ask him what the true meaning of the hate is. I try not using it. It’s probably one of those things that’s not heated as everyone makes it out to be." For the record, Mangold said he’d probably watch Hard Knocks if the Patriots were featured." http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/2010/08/rex-ryan-on-tom-brady-i-respec.html
Wow, Brady's hair looks as bad as Namath's. At least Broadway Joe is 67. Brady's hair makes him look like he's 12. And someone needs to save those pictures for the inevitable look-a-like thread come week 2.
Yeah but he's not blind. And he had his pants up like he was 80 with that awful hair and his collar up. WTF? His daughter was with him too, you think she'd help him out a little with style. Maybe Joe needs to get back to drinking.
That's what happens when you leave a page open while you are reading something else and then decide to post it before hitting refresh..sorry.
