People just can't seem to understand that. I think the signing will be announced on the during the premier episode of Boardwalk Empire on HBO according to an agreement between the Jets, Revis, and HBO to boost HBOs ratings. Some people want Revis signed so badly they are delusional enough to think Hard Knocks is going break the news, failing to even acknowledge that the show is taped and HBO is not a news channel.
there's a first time for everything and it may be taped, but it's not onmuch more of a delay than the newspapers. I don't care, I just want to see some Core Four action.
I like that Rodney hates us, he has reason to since he was a divisional rival BUT as a commentator he is supposed to be objective but that clearly isn't the case.
Even Bruschi is much less biased than Rodney. He was even talking our first team up in the Giants game.
Bruschi's had the hots for the Jets since late last season. I think it's a reaction to watching Rex Ryan and wishing that Bill Belichik had had a personality so things might have been more fun on the Pats during the glory years. The Pats are about the worst team to play for unless they're going 14-2.
I've said it all off season that the Jets could start off 0-3.... Ravens, Pats Fins.... WITH Revis. You could be the Colts with that schedule and 0-3 is a possibility... That's not saying much. If I were in the media I would have been saying this all offseason - Why not get the headlines and attention. It's good for business.
The Ravens are banged up..the Patriots just aren't that good and the Jets have a vendetta for Miami...we could also start out 3-0 without Revis too.
