Exactly!!!! These guys are in their final years (Mangold & Harris) and still reporting. Getting rewarded is what they deserve! NY Jets will not be bullied around!!
rofl pft clowned the fuck out of cimini for reposting what they already said ProFootballTalk When it comes to our report on the Jets and Mangold, there is one hell of an echo in here, from folks who should have had it before us.
Adam_Schefter RT @RichCimini: BREAKING: Forget D. Revis; Jets close to signing C Nick Mangold to extension, sources tell ESPN.http://tinyurl.com/2cr565d 11 minutes ago This is great news on an otherwise shitty Jets weekend
Did anyone else notice during the last episode of hard knocks that it was just nick, woody johnson, and Tannenbaum in mike's office when they were doing the segment on jenkins and mangold practicing against each other every day.
I'm wondering where the numbers fall here. If it's going to top $7.5 million per season, I'd guess somewhere around 6 years $50 million.
He's worth every penny, best center in the league bar none and the centerpiece of our line. Hope the deal is even longer, cause I want him to be a Jet for life.
they should reward mangold he actually showed up and showed he cared about the team unlike mevis who continues to hurt the team
This one looks 110% legitimate since: Wanting to speak with his agent before discussing it publicly is a good sign. http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5484723
This is great news. Nick deserved it after showing up for camp, hopefully Harris and You-Know-Who aren't too far behind.
If this is true this is great. Mangold along with Revis are the best two players on the Jets. This will really put Revis and his band of idiots in an worse position. The offensive lineman who has done everything the Jets have asked gets a huge contract and Revis can't even show up for training camp. i hope Mangold retires a Jet and possibly makes the hall of fame.
lol well at least we can rejoice in Mangold AND laugh at Tim C as that joke of an ESPN show takes another hit.
