What do you think? Qb- Kolb, Big Ben Rb- CJ, Mendenhall, Arian Foster, Michael Bush Wr- CJ, Roddy White, Boldin, Malcolm Flyod Te- Cooley, Zach Miller Def- Giants, Oakland Kicker- I dont care truthfully It is a yahoo non-keeper league with no PPR, standard scoring... Now my Qb's suck and Cassel, Stafford are still there Rb still there- Fred Jackson, RDMC, Caddy Wr still there- Mike Williams, MCCluster, Holmes, Cotch, Jacoby Jones I didnt think it was too bad considering all the tequila and beer.....
I've seen worse teams, honestly it'll compete with standard scoring. I'm assuming you have Chris Johnson and Calvin Johnson also.
What's wrong with the team? If CJ is Chris Johnson and then Calvin Johnson, and then you still ended up with Mendenhall and Roddy White, that's a sick core. Even at QB where you struggle with Kolb, you still have Ben to compete with him when he comes back. TE kind of sucks, but I do like Zach Miller. I like the team. I like it a lot. Granted, it's a 10 team league max, maybe even 8 teams with that free agency. For 8 teams, I don't know how good it is anymore, but it's still good for 10.
Only problem I see is the back up defense with Oakland. Why bother carrying them at all? I'd just pick up another WR or RB, and play the waiver wire for DEF if and when needed.
I wouldn't even say TE sucks, it's just unknown. If McNabb utilizes Cooley, it could be a very good team.
How many teams are in this league... 6??? Your WRs and RBs are unbelievably good. In a 12 team league Chris Johnson, Mendenhall, Calvin Johnson, and Roddy White all usually get draft before the end of the 2nd round so I don't see how you could get all 4... and then Boldin in the 5??! Looks bogus to me. Some of your seriously think this is a bad team? I wish I could draft against you guys in a money league.
It is a ten team league and I have Chris Johnson and Clavin Johnson...The good Te's went way to early and that was the best that was left.
10 team league? Yea you completely dominated that draft. Foster and Bush are even awesome backup RBs, and Floyd could have a huge year if Vincent Jackson sits out or is traded. Zach Miller could surprise this year as well.
First of all, I hope he took the Raiders one as opposed to the Jaguars one. I would love to see someone take the Jaguars one by mistake in my money league. The Oakland Miller gained 778 yards in '08 and 805 in '09. It is possible that he could top 1000 yards this season. Scoring has been the problem with him. He only scored seven touchdowns in his first three seasons.
I once picked up Adrian Peterson of the Bears and traded it for some big names in a non-money league to some really dumb kid I know. He got pissed and I just said fuck it and gave him them back, but it was funny.
Yah, it is a bunch of guys I work with and not all of them know about football, we are all in the military so alot of move each year. I am hoping Zach Miller tears it up for me.
Next time put up the full names. I don't know if you mean Chad Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Chris Johnson... Qb- Kolb, Big Ben Rb- CJ, Mendenhall, Arian Foster, Michael Bush Wr- CJ, Roddy White, Boldin, Malcolm Flyod Te- Cooley, Zach Miller Def- Giants, Oakland Kicker- I dont care truthfully Ben is a shitty pick I think.. suspended a bunch of games and I don't think he comes back in and is too effective. Kolb's a crapshoot. Receivers are good. RBs are good. TEs good. DEF is average. I don't think it's too bad.
He's fucked at QB. TE sucks. Def sucks, WR i didnt know who he meant. I still don't think he's that good.
So your starters are: Kolb Chris Johnson Rashard Mendenhall Calvin Johnson Roddy White Anquan Boldin Zach Miller NY Giants You think this is a bad team? Are you serious?
This team looks pretty ridiculous in a 10 team league. Kolb is a little bit of a question mark to start the season, but after week 6, possibly 4, Big Ben has always been a solid fantasy starter (if not a solid human being). Johnson and Mendhenhall are beasts at rb and Calvin, Roddy and Boldin are about as good a receiving core you could get in fantasy. Zach Miller is an average TE, but a stud RB or WR is better than a stud TE so drafting Miller later rather than picking up a stud TE earlier, unless its Vernon Davis is a much smarter option. The Giants could be good, a little bit of a question mark after last seasons performance, but they have upgraded at middle linebacker, added Rolle and get Phillips back and should have a solid pass rush with Tuck, Osi, Paul-Pierre, Canty and Kiwanuka so sacks should be up there. To say this team sucks means you know nothing about fantasy football. This team def competes for a championship in a 10 team league.
