I don't care about one fumble. He looked good running the ball. The biggest question is, do we carry 6 backs?
Who are the six? 1. Greene 2. Tomlinson 3. McKnight 4. Richardson 5. Conner 6. Woodhead? Not unless he beats out Coles. Edit: Nevermind. I forgot about Washington.
Seems tough to justify having 6 backs on a roster. I wonder since were going to have 2 fullbacks, is it plausible to use Conner as both the #2 FB and #3/4 hb ? I know he never ran the ball often in college, but 54 carries for 250 yards (5YPC avg) and never a fumble in his career plus hes capable of catching the ball. Id be pretty comfortable with that until Trich retires, hell look what McClain did for the Ravens when they gave him the ball
Wont be too much good playing for Seattle. Hasselbeck is a few hits from brain damage because of their line
Once again he showed little and he was outplayed by Woodhead. He gave up a fumble and Woodhead got one. Cheers for the undersized white RB!
Are you high? McKnight despite the ill advised criticism in the article, ran fine between the tackles and Woodhead looked a little overwhelmed.
