I wanted to make sure this got it's own thread as I know we have a ton of people who can't or don't do DirecTV. After chewing out a few sales people and one Vice President I was given this link:

    http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/content/nflstonline/overview

They are, holy hell, going to offer The Sunday Ticket on the Internet. Not having to get DirecTV...just pay for the Sunday Ticket (which I'm sure season ticket holders will tell you) is a FRACTION of the cost of being a season ticket holder....wooo hoooo!!! While I am sure I would enjoy these games on Justin TV etc....I KNOW I'm going to enjoy it better, real time...live and in HD on the ole' Lappy! Yeah babyyyyy

    J E T S Jets jets jets!

    mezzavo,

    Thanks for the info!

Does my heart good to see you back posting and even more so, you're one of the few who STILL honor the memory of my son..."The Green Guy". THANKS

He would have been in 7th heaven with a real coach like we have now.

Maaaannnn...You are NOT kidding. Hey Champ, if you are reading this, what do you think GreenGuy would have said about ole' Rexy?? I'm willing to bet he would have done a few backflips!!! ;-)

I love the internet...he he he he he he

Don't worry LV, his memory will always hang with me...I never forget anyone. On that note, I'm going to be posting a ton...just sporadically...I just went back to work after a nearly two year unemployment stint...sooooo...busy is the order of the day.

    Peace! The Mezz

On a different note...Some one talk to Revis and tell his ass to sign the 10 yr. $120 million contract and get to camp.

Well I am one of those lucky ones so I have grand father rights with DTV since I purchased it when it 1st was offered. I do not have to purchase any other programing from DTV to get the Sunday Tix

As for GG like all of us he would be quite happy with RR as our coach & would have the sense I am sure that finally we have someone who may get us to the promised land

This is true. They really take care of their original users from back in 94? I think thats when it made its splash into the market. Either way, my pops has had it since then and they give him whatever he wants. It's a pretty sweet deal.

Side-note, is this Directv Sunday Ticket To-Go really 350 bucks? Sweet Jesus, I got mine on TV or 180. What a rip-off.

if you spend 350 on that you better make sure your computer is super fast and your internet connection is terrific. you definitely don't wanna pay that type of money for something that doesn't work perfect.

I have sunday ticket and you get online access as well and I tried it once and it seemed to work pretty good. good picture, not much lag. I still think it's crazy to pay that much to watch a game on a computer.

You are all very welcome!!! And....are you kidding me?? $350 for someone who lives in California and has a shot to watch, what, maybe 3 nationally televised games? That leaves me 13 more I have to watch. At $350 for the package...I'm looking at $27 a game...hell, I can't even buy beer at the game for that kind of cash...let me think...does that even cover parking? Soooo...if you are whimpering about $350 for the season...consider that you most likely would drop that 1...maybe 2 games live. Not to mention, DirecTV is so damned expensive...I got rid of it in February...was paying nearly $200 a month, including my Sunday Ticket!!! Yeah, we have to have all the channels. BUT, now we have U-Verse and $200 a month is now my internet, phone AND TV. soooooo...desperate times require desperate measures.... he he he he he heeee

I wish there was a team pass option where we could just buy the Jets games only.

I do not agree...if you do not live in NY and cannot afford DirecTV...that's not a bad price. I do agree with the computer part. Gotta love a 15 Megabit download pipe with a 4 megabit upload. wooo hooo!!!!

That is interesting what you posted as my son bought a basic TV pkg (No Sunday Tix) for $59.00 per month from DTV. Now if you add on the cost of the Sunday Tix of around $180.00 for the entire season that comes out to only $239.00 or over $100.00 less then just the Sunday tix via the computer
