10.5 days from now, Mantana Soss, MisterMoss (no, he didn't die), and Jetfanmack will be heading to Las Vegas. Why? Just for the hell of it. But we'll all be gambling, at least a little bit, probably a lot more. Who wins or loses the most money gambling? Mantana Soss - The degenerate gambler. He'll play any and all table games and bet on any and all sports games. Okay, not quite, but pretty close. He's the guy at the $15 Blackjack table playing twin $50's. He's a high risk, high reward choice. If he comes back with $3K, it wouldn't shock anyone. If he loses his shirt and ends up selling his plane ticket home and having to work in a male strip club for a month or two to pay his way home, nobody would be surprised either. Jetfanmack - Much more predictable than Soss. If he sticks to poker, he should do well. If he follows Soss to games he's never played before like Let it Ride, then it could be a disastrous trip. How the Yankees do also will affect the final number. The other wild card, of course, is alcohol. Sober Mack will stick to his limits and bet less. Drunk Mack is far less likely to. He may forget where his room is and try to sleep by the pool. MisterMoss - Who really knows? Nobody has heard from him in months. He's completely fallen off the face of the earth. How good is he at gambling? Who knows. Rumor has it he was practicing his game in Atlantic City a couple weeks back. The real question is: does having a real job help or hurt his gambling and money management skills? That's why they play the games.
My bet is all 3 of you end up butt naked on the strip, completely broke, and looking to find work in the gay escort business to pay your way back home. Best of Luck!
If you clowns need any tips hit me up... I would offer to buy you guys a few beers but I'm still not sure if Mack is old enough to drink so I'd hate to get arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Besides I have to save up for when Sunday comes out in October because my gut tells me he's not going to be drinking Bud Lights... I picture him topshelf all the way... what no Grand Marnier in that margarita!!!
I think if one of you just hangs out at the penny slots and drinks free beer and pushes the 1 line 1 cent button every minute, you'll win by default because the others will be in the negative.
This should be edited to "Who has the highest net gain or least net loss?" as we will have different bankrolls. And for what it's worth, I've bet twin 200's at a $25 table. MB, we'll be drafting from our laptops in the hotel room.
That's not too bad, but you can do a lot better, especially if as you say, some of you have different bankrolls. Hell, just head across the street if you don't want to take a cab out to real Vegas. Mack can get shitfaced with 20 bucks in his pocket playing at IP or Barbary Coast. Just glad you didn't say City Center. I've never seen a casino more set up to just drain cash, even at the table games.
I wouldn't STAY at one of those places (IP, etc). You should definitely be playing at Harrah's spots, then. Caesars is a good place to stay if you have to be at a Harrah's spot. The Paris would have been good, too. I always stay at Mandalay Bay now when we take the kids because of the pool, but I like Caesars. The Venetian is probably still my favorite place to stay, though.
