This is why I sighed several times last season when I went to the Meadowlands.

I don't begrudge the guy. Yeah, the drama is a little much, but the media creates a lot of that by talking about it non-stop. He's still a great QB, especially in that system. No one can deny he was worth the drama for the Vikings last year. Despite the dumb pass against the Saints, they wouldn't have even been there without him. It's trendy to hate on him, but he's good.

The media has to realize not many people really care outside Minnesota and some Green Bay fans who refuse to forget the past.

I don't get NFL network, so I have to watch ESPN NFL live if I want to watch a football show. Instead of showing 1 highlight of the Jets Giants game, they showed a helicopter shot 8 people standing around in Minnesota waiting for a car with Favre to arrive....

To make it better, they canceled the shows after NFL live to show the exact same shot for 2 hours!

I don't hate him. I should, but his wavering has pocketed him $33 million the last two years.

    Hillbilly savant.

But it's for the love of the game.

Childress just cursed on live TV. NFL Network conference about Favre.

Should Dungy not hire him too?

yup. not gonna lie. i hated it. He should stick to stand up stuff and leave the sketch comedy alone.

UNLESS it's mad tv - it was at least somewhat watchable then

Now he's supposedly bashing his head coach...this guy is such a piece of shit it's not even funny anymore.
This guy, in my eyes at least, has tarnished everything he accomplished in Green Bay. If this arrogant, narcissistic, drama queen wins a Super Bowl it would be an absolute travesty.

Go away, you gigantic bag o' douche.

he owed it to the Vikings to give them one more season, but not the Jets who actually parted with picks to get him and then still had the courtesy to release him per his wishes? if he owed any team anything, it was the Jets --not that I wanted him back, but his absolute indifference to the team is astounding.

I hope we end his career when we play the Vikings.

Lest not forget...admitting he was playing hurt that last month he played here, but would never end his fucking "streak" because he's afraid P. Manning will break it one day, why say anything? Especially after the fact.
And then, throws Tanny and the organization under the bus after he left, saying he told them all about it.
That was fucking BS, but the shit he's playing now is beyond ridiculous. How is anyone, except Vikings fans and ESPN, gonna root for this guy to win? You would like to think a guy who at one point was pretty much universally beloved and respected would be rooted for by everyone, but this POS has alienated pretty much anyone who follows the sport. It's actually a shame. At one point, he was my favorite non-Jet player in the league. Those days are long over.

No, but they might put his name on the Ring of Honor for a day. Then cut him the next.

You're not alone in that feeling.

I knew when that bogus 'retirement' story came out a couple weeks ago it was just a faux designed to get him in the news. Favre's more of an attention seeker than a ten-year old girl.

It's really sad. I want to remember the guy that came bursting down the field to tackle Bubba Franks after throwing him a TD in the playoffs some years back and screaming in his face out of pure enjoyment and love of the game...but the only guy I remember is the diva that can't stay off the television. It sucks.
