The fact that you were surprised is what's weird here.

I keep checking the end of this thread to see if he signed yet. Something tells me this is a waste of time.

If a missle had hit the building during the taping the entire would would have been better off for it.

I'm wondering what the Jets thinking will be if Revis' holdout goes a few games into the season and Wilson is playing lights out?
Any chance they decide to cut ties and trade DR?

Not saying i'd like this, just wondering if the thinking would start to change?
Who knows, it might even soften Revis' stance and look to get him back on the field in a hurry?

Nahh..the takes a dump thread will get merged with a stern admonition from the mods that the new thread is more aptly described as 'Revis takes dump while still holding out'

The 20 new threads on the first page of threads will give you a hint when that happens.

I agree with this 100%. We all know Revis is one hell of a player. He allows rex to make ridiculous blitz packages. But shame on him for not seeing the greater picture in this situation. Here you have a guy who cares more about the money than the rings. This year was meant to be our year. We were supposed to go to the Superbowl and kick ass but now that Revis wants to be paid ridiculously it is going to be harder for us to reach the superbowl. I dont think its impossible just harder. I hope he comes to his senses and comes back. If he doesnt come back before the 1st game of the season i think the jets will be looking into shipping him out. If he cant be reasonable then we have to benefit from this situation somehow.

They cant ship him out...It profits them far more to eat the selection as if he suffered a career ending injury...................
