1 no one was hurt 2 the starters looked good. 3 looked like the jets did not car from the 3rd quarter on and were looking as specific plays. In a regular season game this does not happen we do not call the same defensive blitz 8 times in a row. I dvrd the game and will re watch it latr
it was a good game for the first half when the starters were in. so what if the 3rd stringers lost the game the starters look good
Positives 1. No injuries 2. Sanchez came alive after that interception 3. Shonn Greene looks like a beast 4. First string D played well Negatives 1. Lowery and Coleman are both shit. If Revis doesn't come back and Lowery is on the field a lot, it won't be pretty. He seriously seems to be regressing and getting worse. 2. The backup QB situation is not pretty at all. 3. Backup linebackers were not impressive. Kenwin Cummings had some flashes but overall there is a lack of depth here. 4. Nick Folk missed FG. Made a few too, but still not good to see.
I thought Eric Smith looked good, hitting people all over the place. Clemens was solid. Run defense looked great.
I think we are going to need to keep Kellen Clemens, that's for sure. He was infinitely more impressive than O'Connell.
He looked awful on the long Eli Manning play. He took a bad line on a tackle and the guy got another 15 yards. I thought KC looked rather good today. I guess it was no coincidence that Garcon and the other dude carved up Lowery and Coleman once Strickland got hurt. The Jets really need to talk turkey to Revis.
Cromartie looked good. If he was opposite 24, he would have looked AMAZING. Time to sign, Revis. Lowery and Coleman are skidmarks on the underpants of the Jets D.
Clemens looked much better than I've seen him before. Backup linebackers weren't great but I think there are things expected of Satele when he gets fit. And fucking LT, man. We've got LT in green and white. That makes me moist.
On Folk's FG, it looked like it just didn't hook until the end. Move the kick about about 5 yards and he would have made that, IMO
I met Joe Klecko and Ray Lucas and saw Don Maynard and Adam Schein. I'll post pictures tomorrow, but I will tell you Adam Shein is probably 5'5"
Adaaaaaaaaaaaam Sccchcchhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnaaaaaa. His voice makes me turn the radio off. Over-annunciates everything.
