How empty or full will the stadum be tonight? With all the PSl's that are still unsold and the fact that's its gonna be hot, humid and rainy and a pre-season game, I say the place will be 2/3 full which I consider lame but that's Jet fans.

What is lame about not attending a preseason game? I went to one and will never make the same mistake again.

If I lived 10 minutes away maybe it would be a different story.

I've never been to a preseason game, what's so bad about it?

The better question would be, what's good about it?

I went to the vikings preseason in 05.

    Wasn't that bad.

I love watching football so I don't care who is out there.

But I'll say that the seats are filled up for the starters and then everyone will go home.

There is more to this game than just another preseason game.

I hope the game doesn't get delayed or canceled due to lightning.

Last one I went to was the Favre game against the Redskins in '08. It was cool for about a quarter, then bleh. I'd rather watch it on TV with my laptop so I could look up the names of certain scrubs that are playing.

just a question for season ticket holders that i was wondering:

for a jets vs giants preseason game, how do they decide who gets the tickets for those with season tix or are does it really matter since the stadium is not exactly a "sell-out"?

this is the 1st game of the new stadium.half time is our Ring of Honor presentation.
this is not a normal preseason game.i will make it to my seat for kickoff and stay at my seat till after the ring of honor.then i will walk every level and every area im allowed and not allowed in.and scope this new place out with my kid.

because come regular season it will be seat beer line bathroom line seat again

I'm not a season ticket holder but I think it depends on who the "home team" is. This year the Jets are considered the home team so I believe Jets season ticket holders get priority.

    Could be wrong though.

Other than it always seems to be raining:

    1. You can pull in 1 hour before the game and there is plenty of space for a quick and dirty little tailgate.
    2. The stadium is half full or less, but almost everyone seems to be knowledgable about football.
    3. No fights, drunks, opposing team fans, or other annoyances
    4. The starters only play a little bit but then you get to see kids that may never get to play in the NFL again play their hearts out for a chance at the team.
    5. The opponents also play their second teams so there are some nice opportunities for big surprise plays from lesser known players (like clowney)
    6. No traffic when leaving
    7. You can get tickets for almost nothing. One year I got seats for 1 penny on ebay.

    I LOVE the pre-season games

If the stadium was in queens more inclined to go, 0 Tolls and limited traffic.
