Music at halftime does not work, the sounds sucks and I am tailgating before the game at the Izod so no slash for me. I am looking forward to the fireworks. Just glad to see the Jets being creative something the other football team does not know how to do. Can't wait

Guess we will get to hear the state of the art sound system. Has to be better than the old place.

The Slash thing should be good, could take or leave the Green Day, but the show with the fireworks will probably be one of the more memorable halftime events.

Look at it this way, many of us may not be around for the next new home of the Jets or even care at that point. What was the last stadium 35 years?

9 on the creativity level trying to appeal to all types of fans. Though I am sure some would prefer Neil Diamond singing Sweet Caroline. To each his own.

Sure they could have. any rap act, teeny pop or electronica band would be worse.

Ftr, I am not a fan, but don't mind them. They sound awfully derivative of late seventies early eighties English punk bands like hte Buzzcocks.
