That schlub put together the greatest Jets team in decades and signed Rex Ryan as a head coach. He can muff punts as much as he wants as far as I'm concerned.
We know we're better than you. We don't give a fuck if you know it or not. We don't give a shit if you give us your best game. We're gonna give you our best game and we're gonna beat the fuck out of you. How's that? Let's go get it
Loved how Rex answered that little worm Gary Meyers when Meyers wanted to know why Rex and Tanny got new contracts and Revis didn't... "Let's Revis and I swap contracts, I'll take the last offer he turned down...yeah, that'll work!" Slauson getting the snaps with the ones. Very little Greene, but C Washington has some pop going outside.
This video is just full of awesome The last 48 seconds will pump you up every time
I'm really beginning to think that dude from KSK had a real mic in the locker room for the pre-game playoff games. I can't believe they killed an actual colt. "The Matator..." "Nacho..."
How about the Revis poster above Tanny's desk. He must see that everyday and just want to bang his head against the wall.
I know really...Tannenbaum told Basped "We are going to let you go" before he even sat down for their meeting...it was while he was sitting.
You can tell Kia took it pretty hard too. I've actually never seen a full Hard Knocks episode before this one, and it just makes it that much better that its featuring the Jets this time around. Wednesdays nights are going to be simply awesome until September 8th.
Honestly, this is awesome because it's so close for us as Jets fans, but the Ravens and Bengals Hard Knocks shows are worth trying to see, just from a pure football fan perspective (the others were kinda boring). You REALLY get to see the cuts being made. Tanny and Rex were actually NICE about it, if you've seen the other shows (although Billick wasn't too bad either)
That scene near the start where Rex talks about leading the league in wins and then the Eminem songs kicks in gives me FUCKING CHILLS! Love it. Btw my favorite part was when Santonio Holmes makes a sick juke and catch... Tanny says "You see that catch by #10...Whose the man that traded for that guy? Im the fucking man."
I saw the worst for Kia throughout, especially when he went for some drinks with Mangold and others. Kia wasn't drafted, correct? He's looking for a roster spot, and I just figured going out for drinks wouldn't be the smartest move. Am I over looking that?
