That was awesome. Interesting to see how shitty it really does look on the Revis front. I wish they had told Basped how close he really was. I think that if a player looked like he had the talent to stick around it helps the player a lot to tell them that.
Yeah...basically what I got from it was that Tanny is saying, "OK...we can't get this done right now obviously with how far we are apart, so fuck it and lets try this again next year, but in the meantime, your client needs to get his ass in here because he's got a contract." Of course, we all know Revis is not going to play for $1 mill. Anyway, this was a great episode. I can't wait till its posted up somewhere so I can watch it over again real quick.
I saw only the last half hour and I am even more negative about the Revis situation after seeing that. Looks like the contract demands are just completely unreasonable. Hopefully something can be done to get Revis happy about his contract. He's the best player that this team has had in a generation.
If it is as bad as it seems and our FO has conditions they will not move on, they need to set those out and put it in Revis' court. If both parties have done that and there is no overlap, we're in trouble.
