Woody Johnson is spending more time going on Radio & TV stations posturing than he is actually caring about the negotiations. Rex said it best, Stop the BS, we all sit the fuk down and get this shit done.
Yea, those two interviews he did on ESPN and ESPN Radio REALLY put a fucking stranglehold on these negotiations... Get real dude.
Donny, Tanny makes it work but Woody has final say. If you don't realize that, I guess you just never will. Learn how to read or brush up on english comprehension because I never said thats what it did. He has Been on ESPN ESPN Radio SNY recently posturing...do you understand what that means?
Yea, I do. What the fuck does it matter unless you're implying that it's hindering negotiations? Which would be a very dumb implication.
I think you have totally lost track of the process. He is the owner and of course he signs off. Tannenbaum is the GM and he makes the deals. Get it?
It is going to be very interesting Monday night. If Cro and Wilson do well I think we'll see some backing down from the Mevi$ camp. The light that there will be no payday this year and probably not next year either because of the lockout might suddenly come on over the head of his douchebag agents and the rest of his posse.
I don't know if they will play long enough to tell but I think that light will come on before the season starts. I still don't know if he yet realizes that he is a product of the Ryan defense.
When Rex said (paraphrase) "we lost Ed Reed..and still were top 5" you'd have to be one of the Revis blowhards to not get that......
Here's a silly thought: Darrelle Revis watching Hard Knocks. Do you think he will? And might it have some effect on the negotiations? I hope Darrelle Revis watches Hard Knocks tonight and cries his eyes out for what he is missing out on.
Which is basically what I just told you and now you're spinning it...don't get too dizzy there Donald
Huh? You said Johnson is posturing...what else did you say that is even remotely pertinent? Apparently you still have no idea what Tannenbaum does.
I think his point is who the hell cares what Woody is doing for those 20 precious minutes these interviews take? It's not like he's going to miss some important call from Revis or his agents.
What pisses me off about this whole thing is I hear Floridouche on the radio today blaming the Jets for how they handled it and approached Revis yet defends the Chargers saying "they are taking one for the league" by not signing their guys. He goes a step further to imply that the Revis situation is similar to the Sean Gilbert one 13 years ago yet the only important thing of relevance is that they are related but they are completely and totally different.
All-star cornerbacks don't win teams championships. Trade him to a shit show like Detroit or St.Louis and teach him a fucking lesson. The Jets would be better with him, but I feel they'll be fine without him.
Royal....you're spinning. Posturing is done by the party with no leverage...that's Mevi$. Mevi$..RIGHT NOW...is totally dependent on the Jets largesse, for his entire career. He has 3 years left on his deal which includes this year for 1 million dollars, of which he's already spent 180K.
He wouldn't be an all-star CB in that team. That's what I was saying before. He doesn't realize he is a product of the Ryan system, if he wasn't he would have been an all-star under Mangini too. He was good but the comparison wasn't even close.
