What I'm saying is that the teams and agents realize that there's a "real" contract (say 7/70) that they expect to pay, which includes a signing bonus, then they pump it up with big non-guaranteed years at the end to make it sound like 10/100. I'm saying the 32 million they add in in the last two years would add zero dollars to the signing bonus.
Not gonna happen... Of course I'll always root for what's best for the Jets but, IMO Revis will always be a money grubbing punk and I'll worry every season that he's going to decide he wants more $$$$$$$..... Heck, not Just Revis, Any player that signs with Neil Schwartz. I really don't think the Jets ever Sign a Schwartz player again. I wouldn't. I'm in the camp that's ready to trade him - I wish it were March right now and we could have more room to get draft picks and traded done.

They are making Revis look bad and he's not getting paid. Its an interesting "strategy". Revis should fire these clowns and hire a real agent who can figure out how to represent him and negotiate professionally and how to get him paid.

Leon failed to accept a good deal and paid a hefty price for his decision to do so. Not sure why Revis would look to Leon as somebody whose business decisions are worth emulating.
I agree with this 100%, just be sure to put in the contract, that if he doesnt finish out his contract or decided to hold out, he must forefit his signing bonus
