Interesting. Woody was just asked if he would meet with Revis one and one. He said he already made that offer. He even said that he told Revis' team if Revis would like for he (Woody) and Rex to be present at the dinner last friday. Revis' camp didn't go for it.
Woody is trippin over his own words. Says "it's not about money yet says it's about compensation"...WTF.. Also says "..whenever you're running a business" So it's not about the fans anymore? Winning a Championship? He keeps saying "we do have a contract" then Mike called him out saying "but Mike T is the one who opened it up!!! Then Woody just backtracks and keeps saying "there's a contract in place". He says the JETS doubt they would trade Revis and says Revis only helps you win a championship.....this is the only part I agree with until he says with "Gholston coming on strong" *sigh*

The whole HBO thing...I can understand. However, I don't get why they would deny having Rex and Woody present at that meeting. It doesn't make sense.
Sounds like they aren't comfortable with their position. Especially what they presumably told Tannenbaum to show it to Johnson but didn't want Johnson there. Strange bargaining tactics unless you know your offer sucks.
It does if Revis didn't want HBO there but Woody is in sell mode so I wouldn't put it past that prick if that was part of it. Woody has NEVER been in the media, now he's doing Radio, TV....just all business to him. He doesn't care about anyone if it doesn't = $$$. That's the bottom line
