Flying under the radar only applies to fan opinions and ESPN colums/articles/TV shows etc. The guys that handle contract negotiations know damn well how good Harris is and how much he should be worth

I'm on board with getting a contract done as well. Especially if it is a contract similar to D'Brick's where the team isn't crippled in the future.

The problem is the possibility of running into further Revis situations where the player decides to protect himself by no longer playing once negotiations start.

i cant really imagine harris sitting out like revis is now, but he is being seriously underpaid at this point. id like to say i cant imagine mangold sitting out like this, but we heard him mention the possibility a few weeks ago. hes good friends with revis to. the company you keep and all that

I completely agree. I really believe the Revis situation has to dictate those though. He's the biggest contract with the biggest PIA agent. Tanny needs as much room to work with for that.

I'm with you 100% on this. Revis still has three years on his contract, Mangold and Harris only have one.

I'd be surprised if Harris and Mangold haven't already had some preliminary discussions and I'm sure Tanny has a good idea about how much both of them want for their new contracts.

Time to punt and close the deals that can be closed perhaps.

I doubt they give up on that situation until after the season starts.
