Simple. With the exception of Marshall we have the bigger names or more marketable players than the fins and you know it. And with Rex basically a godsend for reporters to quote and opposing fans to hate, that's just icing on the cake. Does that necessarily makes us a better team? That remains to be seen, but as of right now there is no more interesting team in the NFL. So yeah, fin fans are jealous of all the attention the Jets are getting...
Like any fan, you're jealous of the notoriety that the Jets managed to snatch during the past year or so. Just like we were jealous of the attention that the Pats got year after year. And you also know that there is more to come.
Have any of the finheaven people noticed the ridiculous comments by some TGG folk in the Toon-Rice thread? I hope the fin people didn't see that thread because that's some sorry shit.
Attention would be the last thing they're worried about. Attention garnishes raised expectations. Plus, if there's anything Parcells hates, it's the media.
Probably some. I'm one that doesn't care how much attention the team is getting on ESPN. But yeah you're right. But is that necessarily a good thing?
Expectations from outside. If you let ESPN affect the expectations you have within your own locker room, your probably not that good of a team anyway.
Are you suggesting that the Jets are letting outside expectations affect their locker room? Because its Rex Ryan himself that has put the expectations on the Jets to win it all.
Another great thread from Finheaven. Some posters are calling Vontae Davis "shut down" http://www.finheaven.com/forums/showthread.php?284651-did-Sanchez-even-throw-towards-Vontae
Hot 4 Peyton http://www.finheaven.com/forums/showthread.php?284488-Hot-4-Peyton-also-Eli-but-also-Archie-too
Did this retard forget how fat John Madden was? Gee, Bill Parcells was no waif either. And Hank Stram was built like a fireplug.
Every ocean in the World picked the Jets so if the oceans know the Dolphins suck there's no way they will win the AFC East.
