I'm willing to bet the Jets would have found a way. that's all I am saying. Revis was never going to play for $1 million, so that risk simply isn't a realistic issue to base an argument on.

I thought the exact same thing on like Wednesday. It is literally just being recycled with the same arguments going back and forth. There should be "Latest News on Revis" thread. I just keep checking twitter and profootball.

This thread is basically for news and innuendo. Now, if there's a credible report out there saying he'll be signed soon or something like that, feel free to make your own thread. But that's not likely to happen until he's about to show up. Everything else is just innuendo and guessing games.
exactly. the thread is about his holdout and discussions about his holdout. who could possibly be shocked that is all that is occurring?
That's part of the issue, if you alter the language of the contract is that considered falling under all of the uncapped year bs. I'm sure the Jets would be more then happy to say okay we are going to get Revis for 3 more years at a total of $21 million.
All contracts have to fall within the parameters of the CBA. I didn't think I had to mention that but it is clearly true.
For those of you who have turned against Revis. Question: What name should I tape over Revis on my jersey for the Hard Knocks thing in TS on Tueasday? I was thinking "Greedvis" or something like that (but I don't think its good enough). You guys here are always pretty brutal and funny at coming up with stuff like this. I have a Revis Jersey and a Rhodes Jersey. Neither seems appropriate to wear on Tuesday as is.
