I'm not talking about Mike just in general. We always here about how it's been 40 + years for us and how we have suffered yet KC has been worse than us and they are always pumped up like they are this marquee franchise.

Oh I got you, I thought you were just talking about him.

There are so many franchises that are worse off then this and a lot of people pile up on the Jets. How about the Browns? The Chargers? You don't hear them get trashed the way we do. I think it was you that posted the other how many playoff wins and appearances over the last 12 or 13 years and it's in the upper half of the league. Yes the ultimate goal is to win the SB but there are different levels of success and this team is no where near the bottom of the league.

If you're being sarcastic with the props, I plead guilty as charged. Fatty ticks me off when he starts eff'in with the Jets and then I start shootin' my mouth off and end up sounding like a lunatic, a lunatic cringing during the re-read this morning--ouch! lmao! My bad. ;-)

And yet some people get through all the time. Just take that clown Mike from Montclair. I must have heard him 50+ times going back to the 1990s and I don't have WFAN on 24 hours a day.

No I loved it. I especially loved the Shula part, but all of it is true. Great post!

    Kill Brady et al..

Thx hombre. Though I sounded 'retarded' (as usual), I was sincere at the time of my 'fatty-wfan' rant. thx again..best, j.

Though I see Rex's pentchant for wanting to put "back 8" talent on the defense, at the same time, when I think of killer defenses, I also think/dream of a Jet opponent whose main concern centers around their QB not ending up in a hospital, i.e. "kill the QB!"

    Bears '85....Ravens '01.

This is a QB league; with a ferocious pass rush not TOTALLY dependant on a blitz scheme to set the tone = greater reason for a hurried downfield pass ending up an INT (Revis) or even a TD (Cro) for the Jets. Imagine a QB having FAR fewer check-offs to look at: Revis-covered...forget that....2nd-option...'Cro' ..not happening...3rd option: Kyle?...(plus yes, our LB's underneath)....sorry mr qb, time's out!..SPLAT! .... 2nd-and-17 not to mention the possibility of the QB getting stripped..

--instant 'short-field' position for OUR kid QB to work with (remember the Jags in '09?...frustrating/needless loss...this year = better Sanchez = "ugly" WIN).

Anyway, using that same scenario, hopefully Folk--should the "O" not take advantage of the turnover--can walk on and nail a valuable '3' out of it to seal the deal in a low-scoring NYJ win.

Jags/Falcons/Phins type '09 games transferred into the 'win' column in '10 (we do have a tough schedule) can turn those loses from last year into 17-14 'chippies" this year and may end up making the difference come homefield advantage come playoff time.

You guys don't get it. Francesa doesn't want to be challenged on the phone, so the screeners will never let on someone who sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

The trick is to sound like an idiot when you get through, and ask to be transferred so you could tell Mike how the Jets are the best team in the history of the NFL, or something. Then pull a complete 180 and own that fucker.

junc would need a magic line to get his points in because Francesa cuts people off who challenge him.
