Jerrell Powe is an option in late Rd 1 at NT. Kenderick Ellis, Hampton could be a Round 3 possibility.

IMO, a 3-4 rush LB is the major need, as of right now, in 2011's draft. Taylor will probably only be a Jet for 1 year, his 2nd year deal is off the charts.

If the Jets have some hiccups along the way this year....Von Miller or Akeem Ayers could be in reach, but don't count on it. Adrian Robinson, Temple or Bruce Miller, USF are pass rush demons that should be available in Rd 2.

Cameron Jordan or Derek Wolfe could be some 3-4 end tagets .

Romeus is much better suited to play 4-3 end. He's got one of the quickest first steps I've ever seen. Seems to wear down in some games or lose interest.

I don't know, man. I think he'd be forced to move inside to tackle in the 4-3...even with his athleticism. Pound-for-pound, he's the most athletic player in the country - a lot like Ngata when he came out.

3-4 is what he plays in now and he's dominant. This kid will put up good sack numbers this year, but he's an animal against the run.

Dareus weighs over 300 pounds now too - I can't see a 300 pounder playing defensive end in the 4-3. I think the worst of the 3-4 teams will get him in this draft - probably the Chiefs, the Bills, or the Browns.

I can see why, we dont produce players like we should. I will say this even though he is good the odds are stacked against him when you consider how guys like Ali Highsmith and Beckwith who have gone from fringe first round picks to UDFAs

Who are you talking about Romeus or Dareus??

    I was talking about Romeus.

Romeus is a classic 4-3 end for the NFL.

Dareus, on the other hand, can play inside or a great 3-4 end.

My bad guys - I completely misread the quoted poster. For some reason, I saw Dareus instead of Romeus.

    Yeah - he's strictly a 4-3 guy. Should be a mid-to-late first rounder.

I really like Cameron Jordan. In a really deep draft for defensive linemen he presents great value in the 2nd round.
