Secondly, what kind of realistic answer would make you guys happy? "Well I think the Jets are the 'biggest show in town' and I only hope that one day my son is cool enough to play for them. I hear they are changing the color of the Democratic Party from blue to green because we suck so much. The expression blue balls should probably be called 'green balls' from now on. Derek Zoolander should also start calling his look "green steel." The franchises are aware of each other's fanbases and followings and right now the Jets are getting the lionshare of the spotlight. Some players (Shaun O'Hara, for instance) are quite happy flying under the radar. A month ago I would have not even posted in this thread, but c'mom guys! There is ACTUAL FOOTBALL news to be viewed and commented upon now!!

I'm going to stand by the "what do you expect him to say?" comment. I doubt an answer along the lines of "well good for them, I'm happy to see them do well" is going to be forthcoming. Besides, the leader of the offense (Eli) actually said he didn't really care about the press the Jets were getting and was happy for the season they had less than a month ago. Where's that thread? Again, much ado about nothing.

The Giants Stadium comment was a little much. His other anti-Jets stuff was forgettable. That thread is up on the first page in the Crickets forum.
Fransesca was great this afternoon talking to Mara. Practically goating him into calling the Jets "tenants". You'd think we could just name the damn thing JetBlue Stadium and be done with it, but they'd still cry we have top billing.
I'm a Mets fan and I just had my first glimpse into what Yankee fans must endure.. We clearly have a better team than the Giants this year. Then the Giants make a ridiculous jab at the Jets totally unprovoked... i sense inferiority complex.... so to Yankee fans I say...I apologize.
Yeah it's crazy how irrelevant they've become so fast. Seems like just yesterday they were in Brady's nightmares, now they give up 35 points and it's a good game.
