Very good point. Burnett's problem isn't that he can't pitch under pressure, it's that he can never locate his fastball. When he's got a good curveball he can get away with it, because hitters are off balance enough that they don't tatoo every BP fastball he leaves over the plate.

But on nights like tonight...well, let's just say that's why he's a career .500 pitcher.

    Romero's shutting us down.

Time for some offense, we don't wanna lose a series to Toronto.

Hard to blame Moseley for this one, considering the offense decided to hack all night and he got maybe five minutes between innings.

Sorry guys, but we had to do it again. Don't worry though, you'll be seeing a lot of the Jays in the coming years. Our pitching staff is going to be nasty. Too bad we couldn't play the Orioles every game this season, I think we're 14-0 against them or something. Unfortunately, no matter how good or how bad our team is we shit the bed every year against teams like the Indians and Royals.

ARod looks pitiful at the plate right now. Ugly game again today, not a good time to be playing .500 baseball.

Haven't Jays fans been saying that since, what, 1993? I love when two-game winning streaks that manage to pull your team five games over .500 start manifesting itself as boastful talk.

There are currently 17 players on the Blue Jays roster who were acquired by means other than development in-house. There are currently 20 players on the Yankees roster who were acquired by means other than development in-house.

    Oh, the horror.
