And he is still very smart for doing so. He wouldn't have gotten the same amount of carries in Minnesota behind Adrian Peterson than he will behind Shonn Greene.

He chose the Jets because he still thinks he's the man. He knew he'd never be the man in Minny. Once he realizes he's gonna get Greene's scraps this year, just hope he doesn't become a cancer in the room. Sounds like his Chargers teammates are thrilled that he's somewhere else....
LT came here to disrupt the locker room and become a cancer, hes still pist we beat them last year in the playoffs....thats also why he got the Jet tattoo.
I hate to legitimize a post like this with a question, but does anyone think LT believes he has a shot at the starting job?! I mean we all believe its Shonn, but Rex said today he still sees LT's burst and that crap about the top of the mountain, and LT didn't exactly say I'm ok with being a backup. He said "he knows it will be an open competition for the starting running back job with one-year incumbent Shonn Greene" Open competition? Could LT win the starting job?
I don't think we're looking at a typical starter. I think the fresher LT is, the more carries he can handle early in the season, the better off we'll be. Keeping Shonn Greene in good shape and relatively low on carries could have a tremendous effect.
