    I don't

I think Revis will be shutting down everyones #1 and KDubs will be playing just fine for a rookie nickel.

Are you for real? Sometimes I wonder if NFL contract negotiations cause a mass psychosis in fans.

if Revis hold out the whole season yeah Wilson will be getting the praise, if Revis plays then yes he will be shutting down everyone's #1

One way or another I dont care if Revis plays or not.....I just want the JETS to win a Superbowl

We need Revis to win the SB, and me point was that I think he will be back before the season starts. And it is ridiculous to expect Wilson to play anywhere near the level we have come to expect out of Revis.

    I agree.

Look, no one need say that the Jets cannot win the SB without Revis. But fans were looking forward to this year as a great shot at doing so, and that was WITH Revis. Revis is the best player on the team. Do the odds go up if he's not playing?

Of course they do. People pretending otherwise are whistling past the graveyard.

Hey when things go against you, you suck it up and do what you can to deal with it. And sometimes you come up with an answer that works. But that doesn't mean we have to pretend it makes no difference whether he plays or not. Of course it woulld make a difference, and it wouldn't be good.

We can talk all we want about who's at fault, who's more right than wrong, what the team should do in negotiations. But spare me the phony optimism of saying it doesn't matter whether he plays or not.
