I wasn't spamming dude, I've had the account for a while, just never posted, and I got tired of the 10 post or more link rule.
I do find it interesting when some of the message board veterans feel as if their place to act tough as if on a pedestal only to give any first time poster that dares to come into the neighborhood, a hard time. You feel good about yourself, huh?
I'm not a veteran here, I'm just helping you get your post count high enough to start a thread without you getting in trouble. I'M ON YOUR SIDE
Anyway, I wasn't a fan of the Brunell signing, but I've always been impressed with his career, but if Brees sold his value to Schotty, I'm all for it, Clemens is not the answer. I hope the younger guys can continue to develop. I did find it interesting he's already in uniform and practicing, including Sanchez, they aren't even up in Cortland yet. Love the dedication already with some of the younger guys. Or is that up in Cortland already with the rookies, and Sanchez is just already there. Impressive.
You got yourself banned over Mark Brunnell's "say hi to the camera" interview? What a weird thing to be eager about
I'm by no means a veteran here, but it doesn't take a "forum veteran" to see that you were spamming. rules are rules whether you agree or not. Did you think that the link would expire in 10 minutes or something to justify your accelerated post count boost? You broke the rules, but you're still here. Consider yourself lucky instead of using sarcasm to defend your position.
I get it, and mentioned as much while posting. I was defending the muscle head who thought it was his place to act tough with his welcoming me to the site. Veteran or not, it's not hard to see 624 was being a schmo. I only wanted to see the link, but I'm no message board rookie, so again, apologies for the extra posts.
if you get banned before you see the link, it is just the video posted on the official ny jets website.
damn i came back and thought to myself wow this Brunell video got 2 pages? but then I saw it was full of spam and bitching lol.
+1 I like this guy....although ray ray you were spamming...i mean how hard is it to reach a legit 10 post count?? now regarding brunell...i like this signing and I think the intangibles are going to pay dividends for mark
I like the Brunell signing as well, and think that he's going to be a great backup for the team. Sure, he's not going to be able to air it out when he goes into the game, but that's not what the Jets' offense is built to do anyway. I'm confident he'll be able to make the throws necessary to keep the ground game moving at a steady pace. Plus, his mentoring of Sanchez will be a great thing for the further development of his career.
I would hope that he doesn't have to go into the game as well. No matter which one of the backups goes in, the chances of having a decent season are significantly decreased. I think that we could have done much worse in the backup QB department than Brunell, though.
