Just beat the colt 24-10.... Gave up a bullshit td hailmary at the end of first half where cro couldnt get turned around on the ball and a harmless FG middle of the second quarter. Defense is rediculous and the offense is good enough to put teams away! Just got me so much more pumped for the season haha

I'm glad that Gus Johnson is replacing Hammond. He was rather boring. Mike Tirico would've been a decent choice too imo.
i think since this is a demo the game play is a little biased in favor of who your playing as bc in my first game i beat the colts 20-0 and then in my second game for the hell of it i was the colts and beat the jets 34-0 lol
Marginal improvements to gameplay this year: receivers drag their feet, the o-line blocks a bit better, the opposing o-line doesn't suction block (cheat) as much. Gameflow is meh. I won't be using it. The strategy pad was put in to stop people from abusing the line shifts. It's good, but now the pre-snap controls on defense seem foreign. They really need to bring back the vision cone. It was the one thing that Madden got right. It made a quarterback's awareness matter, and it forced the qb to actually look at a wide receiver before they threw. Of course since it brought the game closer to actual football, the fans complained. I heard franchise mode got little to no attention this year, which takes a lot of replay-ability out of the game. All in all, I'm still going to buy the game and beat kids online. Had something like a 40-10 WL record last year.

I don't mind the strategy pad. It just sucks in the sense that to shift the line or lbs you have to do a rather annoying button combo...

My first game, I hit Braylon on a 70 yard TD with 3 seconds left to win the game 10-3. Gus Johnson went J-E-T-S-JETS-JETS-JETS and so did the crowd. It was awesome. I'm going to love playing with this team.
I'm a fan of the strategy pad. Once I get more used to it I think it will make shifts easier. I've already memorized press coverage. I don't get all the complaints, all they did was change the buttons to a more centralized location, not change what you can do. One thing I do NOT like is the taking away the sprint button. Being able to go slow and burst through the hole makes a huge difference on runs, and puts idiots who hold it down nonstop at a disadvantage when they run up the middle. You can turn it on in the demo, but if you can't use it in online play I'll be very disappointed.
I feel like the best Madden player on the board. My first game I allowed a bomb to Garcon to fall down 7-0 then scored 66 unanswered for the 66-7 win.
