When the biggest scrub in the LA pen retires the mets with 9 pitches you sorta had a hunch, they couldn't hang around much longer.

    where was K-rod?

You knew this fucking game was done when they brought that head case in. He was lucky as shit to get out of the first inning he pitched, but any Mets fan know he was throwing that garbage and was going to give up the HR sooner rather then later.

BTW, the #12 was the 12th walk off game that was lost by the Mets this year. There is something fundalmentaly wrong with this team right down to it foundation. I can't blame Jerry for what is happening but you all know the deal, your not going to fire the players, well I would dump Ollie's ass and bring up Misch from AAA at least he would be getting the expereince he needs.

Might be time for a change hate to say it,but bring Wally in from Brooklyn and anyone else he feels he needs. Then at the end of the years Omar has to go and that whole bunch in the front office, clean house and bring in the young blood and try again.

I just looked at my fantasy team and saw an X next to Pagan's name. That X indicates he's not in the starting lineup.
If this is correct and Pagan is not injured, then it is ridiculous. With an off day tomorrow there is no excuse for Pagan to be sitting. I don't want to hear about lefty-righty bullshit or Mendoza Line Francoeur needing a start.

    Dickey injured.

He was pitching very well. 5.2 IP, 2 hits, 0 walks, 0 runs, 6 Ks

The same team that allowed Reyes to play with a bad oblique doesn't allow Dickey to pitch after he got the 1st 2 outs in the inning, not like it would have mattered anyway, we weren't scoring anyway

2-9 west road trip, this has to be up there for one of the worst road trips I've ever seen.

Dickey thought he could stay in after his foot slipped on a pitch and Jerry yanked him anyway.

A worse one does not come to mind. I would have to research if they ever a trip just as long with the same amount or fewer wins than this one. Maybe it was stated by someone on the TV or radio.

Any word on why Pagan did not play?

It should have been 1-10, they were handed a win in San Fran by Cuzzi after K-Rod gave it away initially.

He is a youngster, but not a rookie.

He did play, so it must be just a routine day out of the starting lineup.

The sad part was that our pitching in this road trip was for the most part pretty good but the offense is pulling off some historic offensive garbage right now.
