chad's been pushin hard for that to happen. lol. per adam schefter: "No deal for WR Terrell Owens is imminent, but his connections to Cincinnati continue growing." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5405675
I saw that he was working out with Carson Palmer and that Palmer was saying good things to Bengals management. Unlike a lot of other people on here I still think he has a lot in the tank and has something to prove. Don't we play the Bengals on Thanksgiving night? That could be a fun game with TO and Ocho chirping at AlCrotraz and Revis all week. BTW I find it odd that Chad would refer to himself as Robin to Owen's Batman? Maybe he'll say he's the #2 guy so he won't end up on the island again.
Ok Cinci makes a truckload more sense than us. He may actually do really well there if he can deal with the fact that he's not gonna be the number one. And Marvin's got plenty of experience with "characters." If it's true then the Thanksgiving game just jumped 3 spots on my "most anticipated game" list.
OchoUno anyone?? http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/th...the_bengals,__im_changing_my_name_to_ocho_uno
Antonio Bryant is better and eight years younger. He'll thrive with teams focusing on Ocho, and TO will be an afterthought for Carson.
Excluding the Jets, the idea of Owens signing with any team that has to play at Cleveland this season would be okay with me if for no other reason than we'll get to see the "T.O. has B.O." sign for the third time. That's simply a classic sports sign right up there with "John Fox is a Fox" and "Patrick Ewing Can't Read This Sign".
I meant to look for that .gif after I saw it on ESPN. I figured there would be an excellent application for it somewhere on here. Well done sir.
