It's in a silly league. I didn't even want to make an effort to trade him. It's a points-based league and pitcher streaming is the way to win it. I gave it a shot, but will never play in that type of league again. Ramirez had already been on my bench. I expect he'll clear waivers.

Phil Coke currently pitching against Texas. Washington was ejected several innings ago, though.
LOS ANGELES -- The Giants-Dodgers rivalry found a new subtext Tuesday night. In a matchup of aces Tim Lincecum and Clayton Kershaw, both Kershaw and his Dodgers bench coach, Bob Schaefer, were ejected within an inning of each other at Dodger Stadium. The tension started on a high-and-tight Lincecum fastball to Matt Kemp in the bottom of the fifth inning. Lincecum's next pitch got Kemp in the side, and Kemp wasn't happy, either. Home-plate umpire Adrian Johnson kept his arm on Kemp in an attempt to prevent the center fielder from charging the mound as he walked to first. Kemp made no attempt, and Johnson issued a warning to both teams. Schaefer was barking from the dugout, and Dodgers manager Joe Torre came out to talk to the umpires. Before throwing another pitch, Lincecum threw over to first base. He allowed a hit and was pulled one batter later for Denny Bautista, leaving in a chorus of boos. The Giants turned a 5-1 deficit into a 5-4 deficit in the top of the sixth, and the matter escalated again in the bottom half. Bautista's first pitch to Russell Martin was well inside, and Schaefer this time was ejected by Johnson. Kershaw's first pitch of the seventh hit Aaron Rowand in the back, and both he and Torre were ejected. It was Kershaw's first career ejection, and he was cheered. Kershaw hit the first batter of the game, Andres Torres, on a pitch Torres half-swung at. http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/n...nt_id=12460794&vkey=news_la&fext=.jsp&c_id=la
strange call in the 9th. visit the mound, step off the mound, go back to mound, bochy complains, ruled two visits to mound, dodgers thus forced to pull broxton and go to sherrill, who promptly gives up a bases loaded double.
Very clever by Bruce Bochy. Not many managers would've been looking for something like that. Apparently the Phillies are close to trading for Roy Oswalt...just underscores how stupid it was to trade Cliff Lee this offseason.
That situation is discussed here between the :15 and 1:07 marks-
Well, it would've made sense to leave him in. Here's what looks like the most logical reason for pulling him. Lackey has a no hitter through 7, despite allowing a run.
I know it's hard because the Marlins are a joke but Josh Johnson is one game away from tying a 90 year old record. He has gone 13 consecutive starts without giving up more then 2 earned runs. Should he do so again in his next start he'll tie the record.
It's in San Fran though, not exactly a place known for it's booming offense... I'm just glad it'll be on TV here in Vegas.
I can't believe that the Marlins were thinking about trading him this offseason. Johnson's an absolute monster.
He's given up 24 earned runs in 20 starts.... absolutely ridiculous. He's only making 3 1/2 million, that's even more ridiculous.
