I walked up to the table and they asked me my name. I responded with a straight face, "Doe, John Doe." The girl looked at her list, and couldn't find Mr Doe. She asked the girl next to her to check her sheets. She asked me if I knew my account number or where my seats were. They were simply going to let me go in. I think they are asking for names so they can give everyone a little card that lists where their seats are....not everyone is as fanatic about the opening of the new place. I finally gave in and gave them my real name.....the other three girls ad a good laugh at the first one's expense.
front row club last year were $425 each from what i remember...someone gave me them for the Jets v Bengals in the freezing cold. was awesome.
Right. There was a table and I gave them my name just to see what they were offering (nothing, of course). But many people were simply walking in and going right up the escalator, no questions asked.
The Jets have sold 75 percent of the 9,000 unsold personal seat licenses that were reduced in price by up to 50 percent last month. (If you do the math, that means there's about 2,250 PSLs yet to be sold). The team is fully confident that the remaining PSLs at the New Meadlowlands Stadium will be sold in time to avoid a blackout for the Monday Night season opener against the Ravens on Sept. 13. “We’re 100 percent certain that we’re going to sell out by opening day,” Matt Higgins, the Executive Vice President of Business Operations, told me this morning. “There’s no chance of a blackout.” Three sections - the Lower End Zone (50 percent reduction), Mezzanine Endzone B (39 percent reduction) and Lower Sideline (33 percent reduction) - were affected by the reduction nearly six weeks ago. The Jets will not make any further reduction in PSL prices. Higgins admitted that there will be some unsold club seats heading into the season, but they are excluded from the NFL's blackout rules. “Every hour the phone just keeps ringing with fans interested in purchasing tickets,” Higgins said. “There will be no need to adjust those prices any further. We expect a full sellout.” The Jets also started calling fans on a waiting list for Upper Bowl seats since many ticket holders in the Upper Bowl upgraded to purchase the reduced PSL seats, Higgins said. wonder why Jets did not charge a premium for row one seats in Lower Level? The four lower goal lines row ones and the two LSL row ones on jets side are a bargain.
That was me, and nothing has changed. The Jets are still lying sacks of shit in way over their heads FYI, I believe that 2,300 (probably higher) number they're referring to is for only those PSL sections where prices were slashed. Everyone will know the real deal when the season starts
Maybe there is a lot of UD openings now. Say 5,000 upperdeckers moved, that takes care of the PSL but now there is just more UD seats open.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH hahahahahaah HAHAAHAHahahaahhaah AHAHahahaha HAHAHAHA HAHHAHAHA AaaaaaaaaaaaaahHAHHahahaahAHahahahahaa
Yesterday, there were definitely UD seats available, but I don't think it was a huge number or that they are worried about it. A lot of people wanted tickets to the Jets without PSL and they had been shut out b/c of seniority. - The rep said flat out that people were not moving out of Upper Prime. Since I wanted to buy upper prime seats, I have no idea why he would lie. If there are any large numbers left, i would bet they are in the UD Endzones and corners.
