i used to watch wrestling RELIGIOUSLY...right up until the WWE bought the WCW......then it all went to shit. WWE is so unwatchable now...it's embarrassing.

I thought TNA had something....till Hogan took a dump there......now it's hot garbage too.

    These are dark times.

i just can't get on the JR bandwagon...he's fucking horrible.

Schiavone was fantastic....I could watch mid 80's WCW PPVs all fucking week without blinking an eye. Even the Living Legend, Larry Zybsko was better than JR....that shit he did with Syxx in the late 90's was gold.....i still laugh when he put Syxx out with that larryland submission hold after he attacked Zybsko in the broadcast booth.

Guys like Dusty Rhodes, Michael Cole, Tazz, JR....should never be behind a microphone....it's like listening to kittens getting slaughtered.

Yes but the Komodo dragon was introduced during Steamboat's fued with Bad News Brown, not Jake "the coke" Roberts.

Yes the Brain was the best, his zingers would make me piss myself during these matches. Even when he was in WCW he was very good but the hey days of him, Ventura and Monsoon were like Christmas everytime there was a PPV which seemed like only 3 times a year as opposed to this twice a month garbage.

You have to look at the ring leader of the TNA circus. Dixie Carter is just extremely incompetent when it comes to running a wrestling promotion.

Hogan and Bischoff fucked them up completly but that wouldn't have happened if this dumb bitch didn't hire them. Not only that but shes bringing in EVERY SINGLE released WWE star.

she has absolutely NO WRESTLING experience whatsoever....she's basically Hogan/Bischoff's puppet.....when Double J was running the show, it was watchable.....now, not so much.

I never even watched TNA to begin with since I always thought it was a joke. Just looking at their roster theres about 1 guy on their that isn't a fucking fail at what he does and thats AJ Styles.

Sadly he has no where else to go except maybe Ring of Honor. If he went to WWE he would end up jobbing to guys like Santino Marells. He stays in TNA and looks like an asshole for bring a part of that failure of a company. Sad story really.

Gotta disagree on JR. But yeah everyone else you mentioned SUCKED.

Schiavone was a good straight man for Heenan and Leg. But that's it. I thought as a pure commentator he was mediocre. But he did play off the heel commentator very well.

Zbysko really pissed me off when he kayfabed Louie Spicolli's death. Fucking guy is dead Larry, you didn't have to go out of your way to "withhold comments" because he was in the NWO. He fucking buried a dead guy. Calling a spade a spade though, he was a very good commentator during the Nitro days. Eloquent but funny.

The business will never hit the height of quality it had in the late 80's or popularity it had in the late 90's.

And the last hope for TNA is Heyman and I don't think he's coming. That show went from being a pile of shit to a bigger pile of shit. They really expect people to buy into Abyss and Samoa Joe being monsters. I'm not one of these guys that's obsessed with look, but Samoa Joe is the fattest, dopiest looking motherfucker on the planet. He looks like Sione Pouha's retarded little brother. And Abyss couldn't work to save his life. Meanwhile they have a good worker in Bobby Roode who also has a good look, and they put him with a guy that continually drinks out of a fucking empty beer bottle. Unless James Storm is like Buzz Lightyear from TS1 and he's getting fucked up on carbon digelene, what's his deal exactly?

Paul Heyman would need complete creative control if hes to turn that shitty promotion around. Otherwise theres no point in him even coming in.

Yes they are , it's a sad state of affairs when Linda McMahon is running for public office and promoting the WWE at the same time. Have you seen her commercials?

We'll never return to the glory years but IMO if your looking to improve the product cut down on the overkill. Eliminate 2/3rds of your PPV's and leave only the Big 4, then put more wrestling into your shows. Yes promos are entertaining but when 39 minutes of a 1 hour show are interviews and commercials your product sucks and your trying to cover it up. Remember how many matches you'd get on a Saturday morning show? 6 or 7 maybe? Why do fucking jobbers need promos and entrance themes? Give me Barry Horowitz or Steve Lombardi any day of the week over these bums. Yes guys like the Rock and Stone Cold were great on the mic but they also had persona and skill in the ring which doesn't seem to be as important in today's atmosphere. Why is the UFC so popular today? Because want action and they get it, the promos are great and the entire production seems to be flawless. I enjoy watching UFC much the way I did WWF back in it's hey day. That being said 50 bucks for a PPV is steep but most of the top flight guys seem to have that mix of personality and skill that is severly lacking from most of todays top wrestlers.

Give him someone with Carter's bankroll, however also the understanding that while he'll have creative control, there's some things he did in ECW that won't work on national television if they want to keep sponsors. But at the heart of all that blood and guts, and some of it I'm sorry was fucking garbage; it also had at one point the best wrestlers bar-none in the world. Give him good wrestlers to where he won't have to rely on New Jack jumping off a balcony (and TNA has some building blocks in Homicide, AJ, Roode and RVD) and let him work. Some of the storylines ECW had (Raven Vs Dreamer, The Network, Triple Threat destroying everything) could translate to a national television platform without the need for the excessive cursing and hardcore blood-matches. Real wrestling fans at this point are just dying to see a show geared towards 18-34 year olds and not the kiddie shit of WWE, or whatever the fuck Vince Russo comes up with.

Apparently shes the reason Bryan Danielson was released.

I guess they were afraid the neck tie choking of Justin Roberts would cost her the election. They really could have had something with him after his promos on how Michael Cole is a douche and a lousy announcer.

TNA had a ton of talent on their roster....when Double J was calling the shots....and the product was entertaining....I loved the X division in its infancy (that's fucking ruined now too)....the Team Canada gimmick was gold (my cousin used to date Johnny Devine...he came over to my house 2 years ago to karoke....he had some good stories).

Then Dixie Carter took over and ruined the product. Why would she hire Vince Russo of all people....that clown made David Arquette WCW champion for fuck sakes!

EDIT: And i swear to god...John Cena is the worst thing to happen to wrestling since the Katie Vick storyline. /rant

Watched RAW for the first time in years last night. Liked Cena's team except Bret, the reason i stopped watching WWE again in the first place was because they kept Rehashing the hall of fame guys.

Instead of Bret, I was hoping for HHH or an HBK return, that woulda been cooler, even though the Hitman is one of my favorite old school guys.

HBK is retired for good and HHH is about 3 months away from returning yet.

I know HBK is retired, but it would have been cool to see him come back til this feud concluded.
