ok thanks guys, sounds like hes closer to the endzone this year just didnt know if he was going to be at the "same place" he was last year but in the new stadium
I heard Ed on the radio--he said "he would be sitting in the endzone" I spoke to a rep that told me " ED will be in the exact same location that he always has been"-----------we will see in 4 months
Word is from people who went on the tour that it will be 123 in the EZ this is the tunnel where the Jets will enter the field and they will leave through the 50 at halftime (and end of game)
You guys are brutal...it was a reference to the section, but of couse if you have the seat behind his ass all night then it may be appropriate.
Ever meet Ed outside of the stadium? I met him after a game at a local bar and could barely hold a conversation with him. His eyes darted everywhere. Very short attention span. Reminded me of coke-heads I knew in the 80's I am pro-Ed because it's a cool stadium-wide thing to do. I love the silence that befalls the stadium just before the chant. It's awesome. Whenever does a stadium suddenly get so quiet? I'd miss Ed if he wasn't there anymore.
I met him going into a game in Miami. He allowed me to rub his baldie for luck. He was accompanied by a young lady maybe 10/15 years younger then him. He was sitting in the UD of Joe Robbie stadium just llike my son & I
I spoke with a rep on Saturday during the meet your seats thing they had at he stadium. He told me that they didn't know where he was sitting. I met Fireman Ed before a game one day with my daughter. He was very friendly and kind to my daughter, answering all of her questions and posing for a picture.
OK. That's good to hear - two positive Ed encounters. Guess I caught him at a bad time. No matter where he is, the stadium cams will be on it. I thought maybe we'd revert to the old both Upper Deck EZ's dueling JETS chants, which is what Ed picked up on. That was cool back in the 80's. It just went back and forth. If you weren't sitting up there you probably didn't notice it was going on but it was like a chant argument between both ends.
