Not that Heyman is any kind of savior, but he would definitely make for a better show than Hogan's cronies. I'm hoping it happens soon.

I think the only way Paul Heyman saves that sinking ship is if he is given COMPLETE creative control. Everyone that came in with Hogan and Bischoff have to go and just let Heyman try to save that failure of a company.

Even then, it'll be tough for TNA to ever recover from the shit that Hogan and Bischoff did to that company.

I'd say Hogan and Bischoff have done a lot better since Lockdown. They made a shit load of bad moves when they came in but they do seem to realise when something isn't working. The problem for them is that their arrival did give TNA the brief increase in ratings but their shitty initial booking drove them away quickly.

Overall though,TNA needs a complete rebranding.People have so many negative connotations of TNA that people are just waiting for any mistake to jump all over them.

Unfortunately I lost interest in wrestling when the real ECW was run into the ground. I'm stuck with watching Bubba Ray Dudley telling some women in Ohio how much black dick Devon is going to give her on Youtube but I'd start watching TNA is Heyman was able to bring ECW back, I'm talking Balls Mahoney getting slammed through a burning table, Spike Dudley being thrown 5 rows into the crowd , I'm talking about the one and only Joel Gertner talking about how wet he made Minnie Mouse's panties and Sandman popping 3 cans of Coor light before he ever steps foot in the ring. I'm talking Francine, Buelah and Komona Wanaleya dancing naked on the ECW Arena roof. I want hat guy and Hawaiian Shirt guy in the front row and entrance themes by Metallica and AC~DC!!!

ECW was a fucking cult but I know in this day and age the following would be amazing, obviously they couldn't use the name ECW but people loved that stuff and it was such a small regional audience but with the resources they could really take it to new heights. I can dream right.

I don't know man, late 80's early 90's had some badass wrestlers even the scrubs had some awesome moments, guys like Bad News Brown, Hercules, Jim the Anvil, Brutus Beefcake, Dynamite Kid and Honkey Tonk Man had style and character. Not saying those guys you mentioned didn't but there were a lot of them in my era. In the late 90's WWF was so busy selling the big time star that soem of the talented guys got left behind in the shuffle. It wasn't like that in the early part of the decade although it sucked when guys like Papa Shango and Doink were part of the fold. The one thing I didn't like about the later years was the death of top flight tag teams, British Bulldogs, Demolition, Strike Force, Hart Foundation, Twin Towers, The Bolsheviks and LOD were staples of my child hood... nowadays it seems like a tag team is made up of just two random guys without any history of chemistry.

It's all a matter of opinion and it really depends on when you start watching wrestling. A fans' favorite years will pretty much always be the first couple of years when he/she began watching because the storylines are fresh and the gimmicks aren't played.

Seeing this intro Monday nights as a 10 year old would get me so fired up!!!

Watching Kane win made me turn into 10 year old BRad again. Loved Kane, about time he gets an actual title reign that will hopefully last longer than 1 night

I wish Kane would have retired about a year ago.

At least they didn't ruin one of the MITB matches.

This is almost assuredly a buildup to an Underkane / Kane fued.

You said Kane's gimmick was stale but he just had a major turn and has been getting all of the Smackdown attention. It should have been obvious he would win..

I wouldn't mind it so much if he turned into a monster heel. And yes you did call it awhile back, i'll give you that. I still don't think it should have went to Kane.

If they really are setting up for another kane/taker fued it doesn't have to be over the WHC.

The one thing thats really puzzling is the fact that Christian isn't in the hunt for any title whatsoever. I don't really see why they even brought him back if they're just going to turn him into a jobber.

I'm really glad the Miz won the Raw MITB though, this guy really has what it takes to be a star. Good matches, great mic skills, pretty fun gimmick.

I think Christian desperatly needs to turn heel. Just think about it if he went back to Captain Charisma with his old entrance theme. Back when they actually gave him mic time and they didnt have stupid guests on The Peep Show like Hornswoggle. His old entrance is really good.

You make a good point. Either way I'll root for Christian but I think he may be one of those guys that will get a pop regardless. Miz we agree on so no point to debate that. It should be fun to watch him gloat for the next however long. The Kane Taker thing WILL happen you can bet on it and Taker will win, unless Kane ends up taking Takers WM streak to retire Taker, which to me is highly doubtful but not out of the question.

After seeing Kane win MITB tonight it wont shock be if he ends Taker's streak but I think he should either stay undefeated or have an up and coming superstar end it.
