Hi all! Yeah, I know this has been covered before but I'm bringing it up fresh as someone may have found a BETTER way to watch the Jets this season. Thanks to the economy, I've decided to drop my DirectTV and NFL Sunday Ticket as it's just too damn expensive. so, having said that...what, if any, is the best way to watch ALL of the games? Where can I go on the internet to find all these? Thoughts...opinions??? The Mezz
I found this site http://www.watchlivenfl.com/ I never heard of it or used it. Does the NFL broadcast online yet? Are you in market or out for the Jets?
You'd probably get removed from the field, they frown on fans being there when players are using it. lol
I get games from tenyardtorrents and then burn them to DVD. I only get the wins - can't stand watching defeats again! Torrents tend to go up pretty quickly on that site and are of a very high quality, often HD if you want it. And for live coverage, I know you guys can't get the live video stream over the internet that is available to us overseas fans, but listening on the radio is a great way to follow a game in my opinion.
Best way: come to your senses and re-purchase Sunday ticket.....no matter the cost. Sunday ticket > groceries
I've never found a reliable source for live streaming, which is why I fork out for the NFL official stream. All the unofficial sources are of questionable quality and seem to get shut down regularly on account of their being illegal.
atdhe.net is the best place to find streams of the games. There is always a thread here which has links to streams. The NFL only offers live video for people outside the U.S. so that doesn't work for most of us here.
nfl rewind is solid. They haven't announced this years price but id expect 50 to80$ for the full season and everyteam and everygame. All hd, and all offically licensed by the nfl
Thankfully, for us out-of-towners, the Jets will have at least five primetime games this season and I am sure that every part of the country will get a few random CBS/Fox games throughout the season. I supplement these games by going to a friend's house, who has Sunday Ticket, or by going to a sports bar. Worst case scenario, you end up following the game on NFL.com's Gamecast or you might want to consider purchasing NFL RED Zone, which updates all the games extremely often.
Mezz, if its at all possible, have a friend/relative put a slingbox in their house, and then give you the password to the box. The quality may not be great considering that you are in Cali and they are on the East Coast, but its a way to see the game for free. Pay for the slingbox, and make sure they know how to set it up.
That's a damn good idea and could be a way for a TGG'r to earn some cash. I believe they have unlimited logins with the slingbox right? So a TGG'r could host the games for all out of towners and charge like $10 a game. Shit, I'd do it-
Another interesting thing, I just googled it and this issue came up in a Bengals forum. SAying that their cable provider blocked them because they were using too much bandwidth. I've never hear of optimum or Time Warner doing that though.
Funny there is some guy has a website forget name where he points his webcam at his TV and broadcast it for free. He takes requests
I thought they had some package where there is more then one login. Someone can be watching from a desktop while another on the account could be watching from the Iphone app. I don't really know anything about slingbox so the 1 user makes sense.
I used this last season: http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=americanfootball Whoa..100 posts. How do I celebrate? Who's mom can I climb on?
