If David Harris isn't great, I'm not Jewish.

I understand you being pissed off. However, I was more enamored with this line instead of being upset with your selection....

That says volumes about Cactus alone, not to mention the other guys.

I agree, he's a beast and only getting better. I think with a year under his belt in this defense he'll be that much better. Led the team in tackles last year and had 5.5 sacks, I'm excited to see what he can do this year.

I think that was his point. Revis is NOT great yet. He had ONE great season. He MIGHT be great. Let's see him string a couple of seasons similar to 2009 together.

The rating for the LBs is very reasonable. Our top 5 are good to very good.

    Ray Lewis is "great"

David Harris has the potential to be great but at the moment is "just" a very good LB.

He has just had a great season but if he got injured before the start of this year would people still be talking about him in 5 or 10 years time the way they do with the truly great players?

"Very good"? Yes.. "Great" takes time. HOF players don't get into Canton after 2 or 3 years. When Revis is a 5-10 time pro bowler, then lets call him "great" and get his bust ready in Canton, OH. That's a long ways down the road yet and lets just hope he continues to play at a level that one day, we can really consider him "great" without risk of being a "homer".

Then I would stop going to your local synagogue for at least another 2 years yet Ed.. I think you're confusing "very good" with "great".

At this very moment Revis is great until proven otherwise. He had a Great 2009, so unless he completely shits the bed in 2010 I don't see him becoming not great.

Revis is the best at his position PRESENTLY. He had a "great" 2009 season. He's got a long way to go yet before he truly becomes "Great". Let him pass the test of time first before we put him in Canton.

Yeah to be considered on of the "greats" for sure, but as of right now he is a great player.

I could not describe him as good or very good, he's just too great. lol

Harris definitely underrated - not by Jets fans, obviously, but by everyone else. I think Pace gets a pretty fair rap though.

And right now, Revis is "great". "Very good" doesn't begin to describe the year he just had nor does it describe the level he is currently playing at.

I understand what you are saying but I wouldnt use Pro Bowls as a measuring stick.

I would consider All-Pro recognition before I ever worried about Pro Bowl nominations.

Absolutely Kev. To quote many a politician: "I misspoke". I should have said "All-Pro" instead of Pro-Bowl but overall, the meaning is the same.

If someone is a top 3 defender in the nfl, that makes you great.

were not talking about the hof, were talking about the 2010 season, and we all espect revis to be great in 10.
