ESPN's Top 5 1: Peyton Manning 2: Tom Brady 3: Drew Brees 4: Philip Rivers (what?) 5: Brett Favre My Top 5 1: Drew Brees 1: Peyton Manning 3: Tom Brady 4: Aaron Rodgers 5: Philip Rivers Who's yours?
1. Mark Sanchez 2. Quincy Carter 3. Kevin O'Connell 4. Erik Ainge 5. LaDainian Tomlinson Seriously though - this is my prediction for 2010: 1. Manning 2. Rodgers 3. Schaub (this guy is so underrated) 4. Brees 5. Brady
Based on 2009: Brees Manning Favre Brady Rodgers Going forward for the next 3-5 years: Brees Rodgers Manning Brady Flacco Best in the past 10-15 years: Brady Warner Manning Ben Favre
We're ranking top QBs not biggest whiny bitches.:chargers: 1.Brees 2.Manning 3.Schuab 4.Rodgers 5.Brady
Pretty surprised so many rank Brees ahead of Manning right now. Not only do I think Peyton is the best QB in the league right now, but he's arguably the best of all time. I don't think aging has had much of a negative effect on his abilities, he just seems to be getting smarter. I doubt Brees will be in the discussion for best of all time when his career is over, and Peyton isn't that far out of his prime where Brees gets the edge because of his age. 1. Manning 2. Brees 3. Rodgers 4. Brady 5a. Schaub 5b. Roethlisberger
If the Skins had a better receiving corps and offensive line, he'd probably be in my top five as well. McNabb just doesn't have a lot to work with in Washington.
Peyton is a great fantasy QB but his mistake in the SB cost his team a chance to win while Brees was nearly flawless. That pushes him past Manning. QB is not all about great individual #s, making plays when it counts to help your team win matter more. Rodgers hasn't won anything, Schaub hasn't even been to a postseason, manning is great but w/ the talent around him he should have more SB apps and wins.
Well to be completely fair, James Thrash and Todd Pinkston weren't exactly the best WRs in the world...
Yeah, I know he's played (and done well) with some shitty receivers before...but McNabb's older, less mobile and his line is pretty awful. I think Trent Williams will be a turn-style at left tackle. Jamaal Brown was a nice pickup, but then Mike Williams went down for the season with blood clots. Washington's interior linemen are horrible. When you throw a rookie left tackle into the mix, things just aren't looking good. Clinton Portis is in for a tough season. I hope McNabb beats Philly both times they play this year, but I'm not expecting big numbers.
Manning Brees Rodgers Brady Farve Farve can still play at an extremely high level. He just loses the game at the end of the season.
