Mike T shows again why he is our best GM ever and possibly one of the best in Sports at this moment with regards to contracts and cap maangement
With the final 3 left, I rank them 1. Mangold 2. Harris 3. Revis as how I would sign them in order. Sad how Revis has soured on me by his selfishness.
Revis is still the most important player out of the three - I don't care if he's playing hardball right now. He's the most important on that list. David Harris is a damn good middle linebacker, but he's replaceable if it comes to that. I'd like to see him re-signed, but he should be at the bottom of the list. Nick Mangold is the best center in the league and should be re-signed, but Revis is the best player on a defensive minded coach's team.
ESPNNewYork.com - Sources: Ferguson gets huge extension http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5361080
Good signing! Definitely a fair deal and gives us room for the other 3 signings. I loviing this keep it comin tanny
i guess haha. i tweeted him back, and told him to ask revis if he could cover him on the bball court, or football field. he usually responds ill post the answer.
Bob Glauber of Newsday first wrote last month that Ferguson would be first to get his new deal, a report that was quickly denied all around. This guy was right, and alot of people on gang green here shot him down. Not gonna call anyone out but im glad to hear the report was true
Yeah, we can keep him here fore 3 years in any case. But I doubt if Revis signs an extension with us after that. He doesn't wanna wait that long and if we force him to, he'll be pissed and you don't want to piss off a player you are about to offer a contract to.
Awesome job locking up one of the best LTs in the game. Another plus is that it shows that our team is not cheap and makes a certain someone look a little worse for wanting too much.
