Coming over for first two games and staying in Hoboken so I can get the NJ Transit over. Just wanted to know if anyone else will be using or has used it for concerts ?

Is this the first year its in operation as when I came over in 08-09 i can't remember it being available then as I had to rely on a taxi service which cost me $100 return as the wife can't ride the bus!

I used it for three games last season; two Giants games and the Jets/Bills game.

If you have no plans to tailgate, or are planning to meet someone else for tailgating, the Meadowlands Rail Line is a great option. I think it was about $10 for round-trip tickets from Secaucus Junction, and it's about a 10-15 minute ride.

When the games let out, the train is right in front of the Metlife corner exit/entrance of the new stadium. Lines also moved pretty quickly.

Highly recommended, hassle-free way to/from the stadium on gameday.

i am thinking of taking the train to fridays game. i am bringing 3 of my kids (8,4 & 3).i am going to get dropped off at Hoboken for the 6:19 PM train which is an express straight to stadium and gets there in 24 minutes (6:43 PM).giving me plenty of time to stroll around the outside and check out the Great Hall,Generation Jets Area & the Bud Light Railgate.

I am using this for the Ravens and Pats games, looks a stress free way of getting to and from the game.

If you could give feedback it would be appreciated 17a

Used it last year for the snow game against the Falcons all the way from the North Shore of Long Island. Round trip was something like $40 and trains tired me the fuck out, mainly because of all the walking and standing around. I was exhausted after the game (pretty much like I am after a Yankee game after taking the trains in).

The good thing is, the trains were pretty much close to schedule. I gave them a pass because of some delays due to the snow storm. Not sure if they let you drink in them and I thought I heard you couldn't bring a cooler with you on the train (but I could be wrong). DThomas is right, they do move the lines into the trains fairly quickly. I remember leaving the Falcons game and having 3 trains waiting there waiting to get loaded, so we were on our way back home pretty much right after the game.

    Good luck.

I think the rail goes from Hoboken to the Secaucus Junction where you transfer to a direct line that goes to the stadium. IIRC, it's a 10-15 minute ride from Secaucus to the stadium. I've yet to see it/try it but from what I've heard it's your best bet.
