http://content.usatoday.com/communi...ll-cunninghams-son-dies-in-hot-tub-accident/1 Wow does that suck, it is rather odd how a 2 year old was near a hot tub unsupervised.
I was thinking that. Should have been no where near that tub. But if she was watching multiple kids, then one slipped away. RIP, sad story to read.
I wasn't really joking, but that's a happier way to think about passing on in an accident, is that they're not gone, but somewhere else. I didn't see the movie and I don't think dead kids are funny. But I didn't think about heaven or hell, instead just some pop culture reference. Sorry to offend you or anyone. Baptisms in hot tubs is kind of a weird practice.
Very sad story. Reminds me of the freak accident that Mike Tyson's kid had recently where he was strangled by a cord. A kid gets away from your sight for a few seconds, and any accident can happen.
damn very sad you gotta be extra careful with kids around water...what is it, they can drown in like a tablespoon of water or something like that rip
I was always Randall fan, I had no clue he was a Pastor though. Makes sense, he seemed like a nice guy back then.
The stupid comments are always made from the people who don't have kids....my guess Horrible story I have a two year old and I couldn't even begin to imagine what they are going through. All it takes is them getting out of your sight for 10 seconds...
The body of the toddler son of former Philadelphia Eagles star Randall Cunningham was found in the family's hot tub Tuesday afternoon, Las Vegas police said. Christian Cunningham, 2 years old, was discovered floating in a hot tub in the backyard of the family's Las Vegas home. A woman who was at the home discovered Christian (pictured right with Randall) around 4:30 p.m., local time and began performing CPR on the boy. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Police are investigating the incident, but an officer told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the drowning appeared to be an accident. The Review-Journal reported that Randall Cunningham was not at home at the time of the incident, and was either in San Diego or returning home. Randall Cunningham became an ordained minister in 2004 and often performed baptisms in the hot tub at his home, which he shared with his wife, Felicity and three other children. Randall Cunningham, who set career passing records at UNLV, played 16 seasons in the NFL, including 10 in Philadelphia, where he brought a level of athleticism to the quarterback position. He was voted league Most Valuable Player by the Pro Football Writers Association in 1990, but suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee the next season. He retired after the 1995 season, but came out of retirement in 1997. He played for Minnesota, Dallas and Baltimore before he retired permanently after the 2001 season as the all-time leading rusher among quarterbacks. http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/06/30/randall-cunninghams-2-year-old-son-drowns-in-familys-hot-tub/ ******************************************************* Poor little guy. My heart goes out to the Cunningham family.
For some reason I expected the kid was going to be somewhere in his teens. That was an unpleasant shock when I read it was a child. This is awful.
People get baptized in all kinds of things, I've heard of swimming pools being used. Just depends on the church and religion.
My church that I went to when I was a kid did then in the pastors pool. I do find the hot tub strange only because I though you weren't supposed to put your head under hot tub water.
