Francoeur dribbles it up the middle, bringing in the run and moving the pinch runner Cora over. Thole batting for Tejada with the tying run on 3rd and 1 out.
And Feliciano blows it in the bottom of the 9th after 2 were out and none on base. Can't lose games like this against a crappy team like this.
I hate to nitpick, but what is Manuel doing putting K-Rod in in the 8th? I said to my wife after he pitched, "watch the Mets tie this game up." If Feliciano gets through the 9th inning, maybe my beef is null and void, but he's your closer, you need to save him in case..... Well, in case happened, and he was already used.

Oh, absolutely - that was completely horrible bullpen management by Manuel. I guess I've just gotten tired of constantly being so negative about him, but as I said about a week ago when analyzing his ridiculous decision to bring in Rodriguez when Dickey was pitching the shutout, the W-L record of the Mets is a poor way of evaluating his ability as a manager.
