4-3 he will definitely be in there as a DE, The Ghost has beefed up supposedly to get ready to be a 3-4 DE, he's got to be a space-eater and I just don't see him doing that, he's going to have to develop some speed bull rush moves in order to stop the run or get to the QB, fucking Ghost man. I'm absolutely rooting for DeVito to get that starting spot dude can make plays, but we all know Rex wants the Ghost to get as much PT as possible so he shows any promise at all during TC he's going to start

I highly doubt Gholston starts over DeVito unless DeVito really struggles during Training Camp. I think the Jets are just keeping him around for a third and final season to save face as you don't want to cut a Top 10 pick only 2 years into a 6 year contract. I think after 2010 he's gone, no matter what the new CBA looks like. Unless of course he actually starts doing SOMETHING, in which case he may be given 2011 as a 4th year to show improvement.

If Pouha is going to play some DE, too, he's going to have some serious work to do because he's also going to have to take some downs away from Jenkins.

With Jenkins coming off the ACL and having to lose a bunch of weight in the process, I think they are going to be depending in Pouha to take downs away from Jenks. #77 has been doing mostly part time duty for both of the past 2 seasons under Mangini and Ryan, even when he was healthy.

Correct. Jenkins has been spelled before. ANd will be again.

I read this above post in the Narrator of the movie Armageddon's voice :)

Yes, there is no way Jenkins will be on the field for more than 60% of the plays this season. I just don't think he can hold up for any more of that, and Pouha and DeVito have proven they can spell him without missing a beat.
