So I guess this is a good reason to believe Revis will get his new deal soon (of course he has to accept it). He will be the 8th highest paid player in the Jets secondary without it.

Last year Darrelle's cap number was nearly 8 million, it's just the way the deal was structured.

As it said in the Article he's already made 15 million in his first 3 years, which I'm sure any of the goes listed would kill for.
