Fair point, though Holmes did feel a need to defend himself a while later by basically telling everyone that whatever motivates them doesn't motive him.

You mean the Giants fans who throw iceballs at people on the field when they get drunk?

I don't doubt that some guys are only in it for the money but I do think a lot of them do love to play the game.

Oh I don't doubt that at all. Honestly, with all the stories lately, be it Revis, or Haynesworthless, or that dude up in New England, whoever, I'm just disgusted with these guys. They're looking at not working next year, and still getting paid. Millions. Who among us can say that? Maybe the not working part, and maybe if we're not there might be something left in unemployment, but it sure isn't millions.

I'm all out of sympathy for athletes crying poverty. The "I gotta feed my kids" bullshit is tired already. These guys have no concept of reality. When the economy was booming I was okay with pros getting whatever they could. Times have changed though. I almost wish the Jets still sucked. I'd boycott the sport just like I did with baseball for a decade after the strike.

I get where your coming from with that sentiment. I usually tend to look at what I would do in a situation like the one they are in. These guys have the chance to make sure their entire family is taken care of by the time they are out of their 20's. If I'm in a position like Revis is currently in I wouldn't care who I pissed off if it meant I could tell my parents to retire and get them a house wherever they wanted and I never had to worry about my kids needing anything.

I was wondering how many people left of his Cleveland followers who tweeted him the same thing.

Don't know if you've seen Donovan Warren's Twitter account, but it's pretty clear that Michigan didn't have English as an admission requirement. When he said he got bad advice leaving college, maybe it was because it was written down and he didn't fully grasp it?

    Good gawd.

Because there aren't millions of people who spell like that on the internet, let alone twitter (Which has a character limit mind you)

Pretty sure DeSean Jackson types the exact same way. Worse even. I'm pretty sure Warren isn't even as bad as your making it out to be.

I didn't say 'Hey, here's the only guy with bad grammar on the Internet. I found him!'

I just thought it was funny how bad many of his posts are. Maybe he isn't as bad as I'm making him out to be. Why don't you click on the link I provided and figure it out for yourself?

It's the offseason, I was bored and his tweets had been making me laugh/question his literacy level for a while. Thought I'd post it.
