    Really..A tale of two CB's.

CB1, in this comparison is Revis...Anyone care to guess who CB2 is?

    FYI...CB2...Is Dwight Lowery.

As i said earlier, Revis' talent is without question and without equal.

But..CB as a position is not Center,LT,QB or MLB.

This is not to say Lowery is near as good as Revis, but to shed a little light on the position,
    particularly in a pressure defense.

At the end of the day, it's a team game..

Very true, but would you have to factor in that, Lowery has faced less talented receivers then Revis? Revis is guarding the teams #1 WR, Lowery at best is going against #2s correct?

If Revis doesn`t accept this then they should move onto Mangold and Harris.

this is getting tiring. I was so excited for the season to start and have been reading on the jets almost everyday but now i might just havta take a break until the preseason starts. i cant handle anymore contract bs.

Revis will definately accept this. Cuz he realizes when he gets older his value will probably drop below 12 million. And 100 Million would set him for the rest of his life.

I will be shocked if he doesn't take this.

I agree. If the Jets do offer Revis $100+ million, he'd be ridiculous not to take it. That is a more than fair offer. Aso only got a 3 year deal, if the Raiders gave him a 6 year extension, his annual salary would be much lower.

If the JETS resign REVIS & the rest of our youngins, I'll have to seriously reconsider my position on how we treat our good, young players

Revis will never see that entire $100 million, so it won't be setting him for life. that will just be an ego number.

Yes, it was. He was the SECOND BEST corner in the NFL in terms of QB rating against.

And see above, that's while wearing the target.

One year with that contract would set him for life.

But he has to think about his "family" so he needs something around 100+.

    Ummm..3rd.

He started 5 of 13 possible games (so he was covering more than nobodie), effectively splitting snaps with Sheppard at the 2 (500 and change vs 446 snaps)..Injured 3 games

Lowery is so freakin good the Jets traded for a corner to take the #2 spot and then drafted a corner and named him the #3 before he even practiced with the team.
