I don't think Gus ordered it but I'm sure he knew what they would do. He was trying to set up another Hank/Death brothers situations where 2 problems would hopefully take care of each other. I mean come on, that sit down was a joke. "Shake hands" right.
It was like 'Full Metal Jacket'. I don't doubt there was borrowization. I just made up a word. King me again.
I also like how one of the guys who got ploughed looked like one of the Cousins. Everything is done with purpose. Back to the bar scene, the background was the stage for the Dance of Death. This show just kills (heh). I'm a bigger fan of this show than the 'X-Files', but you can see why Vince Gilligan excels. He's also a February baby (what else?). I love me some funky Aquarians. I tried to post a youtube. Didn't work. Oh, well.
100% Gus ordered the hit on the kid. Those dealers knew Jesse was gunning for them. They were out of the car almost immediately. You could see the look in Gus and Jesse's eyes at the end of that ridiculous meeting at the chicken farm. Gus knows everything down to the minutia of his business. Just watch how hands-on he is with his chicken business even though it brings in piss compared to the meth. Nothing happens, absolutely nothing, without Gus's tacit approval...... well until he got into bed with Walt and Jesse lol Loved how they work in the title of the show again. From Caballo Sin Nombre to IFT to One Minute to Half Measure. They just weave the story around the title and pieced together from other episodes in the casts past. I love how every action has a consequence and that sometimes it is an action from season one that comes back to haunt Jesse/Walt in season 3. It is very similar to The Shield in that respect. There is hardly any filler scenes and if it is a filler scene this season, it becomes integral to an episode down the road. Breaking Bad just forces you to put your thinking cap and really remember this stuff. I love this show. It is definitely in the top 3 drama's I have ever seen at this point. I still think he Wire and Deadwood are ahead at this moment but man is this compelling storytelling/writing and the acting is getting stepped up as well..............
^I said it earlier in here, but 'Deadwood' now has a serious run for its' money. I'm surprised no-one has mentioned 'The Sopranos'. That show was fukking terrible. Like, a world of fukking sukk.
The Soprano's is the most over rated show that I have ever watched. Suck? I do not know about that. How anyone can say that show is in the discussion of best show ever is beyond me and just plain laughable. It was over acted and boring for long stretches, like 2-3 seasons worth. If Deadwoood was a mob drama it would have been the most popular, most respected show ever. Everyone immediately over rates the mob stuff because well it's the mafia, bitch. Anyway, to really discount people's really poor taste, you can just point to the fact that The Wire was never nominated for an Emmy till its last season. The Wire's last season was easily its worst by a good deal. That season really kills it in its run at Deadwood for best show ever. Sorry, but no show is close to Deadwood in my opinion. Although it is funny that I dislike Anna Gunn in both shows. lol
^Well, I think you also have to take into account that this isn't cable. It's regular goddamn TV. Anna Gunn, yeah I mentioned earlier she was also in 'Deadwood'. Speaking of which, I hated how 'Deadwood' got wrapped up as well as 'Oz'. Money and contract issues, I know; but it's like they tried to stuff all this stuff into one hour just to get it over with. What's great about 'Oz', though, is that even the most minor of characters show up on 'Law & Order'. All of them, all the time; and also the young Don Salamanca as well as the old Don Salamanca from 'Breaking Bad' was also on 'Oz'. Six degrees of separation, I guess.
From the sneak preview Mike: Walter. You've been busy. Wanna put your arms out to the side for me, if you would? (frisks Walter) You know I haven't slept since Thursday? I was out all night cleaning up after you. I need my sleep Walter: You said no half measures. Mike: Mmm, yeah. Funny how words can be so open to interpretation
That was some nasty shit. That was a bigger cliff hanger than ESB...........Those motherfuckers. They did us dirty. I am going to smoke a hit of heisenberg after watching that.
